Top Wappapello Hotel Reviews

Drury Inn & Suites Poplar Bluff

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely the friendliest front desk staff I have ever experienced! Such a delight! They have a quick bite for supper available as well as popcorn and soda in the evening. Breakfast was great. It was Halloween and the hotel was packed with college ball players but the staff kept Bfast stocked and clean."

Hampton Inn By Hilton Dexter

8/10 Good

"I didn’t like that the room we stayed in, the bathroom was not serviced/cleaned daily. The cleaning was only every other day. I’m okay with every other day full cleaning but would really like daily bathroom cleaning. The gym was very nice. The breakfast is okay, not great but definitely not the worst we’ve had. Overall the hotel is clean and well maintained. In Dexter I believe this is the best hotel option available."

Lake Wappapello

10/10 Excellent

"This a cabin in a state park. It was very clean and had newer upgrades. Bring the food you need because it's fairly distance from a grocery. We came later in the day because we needed one night and this was a great price and not a chain hotel which we like. There is a little store not too far from the park. We ordered deli sandwiches from here and picked up some icecream. The sandwiches were delicious and the store had pretty much whatever you might need. The checkin process was great with good communication about which cabin to go to, what the door code was etc... We plan to come back for a longer stay so we can have another evening around the firepit and see all of the stars. Great place to stay."

Private lake, beach & hot tub, romantic getaway or family vaca

8/10 Good

"Great location to access the lake close by. Very picturesque location.Pics are a lil deceiving in that things are actually on a smaller scale IRL but still good amenities.Be aware, the pond is not swimmable but paddle boat is fun."

"We have stayed at this cabin for the past two years. Janet, the host, is quick to reply with any questions youmay have. The cabin was clean. Check in was easy. No doubt we will try to book cabin again for next year."
