"My family and I stayed here for a few nights and we really loved it! It is more of a remote location so plan to walk to certain stations for transportation (~15 min) but they have everything necessary nearby (gas station, bistro/deli, small resturant, fast food, etc.) The room was small but cozy and comfortable and the staff were kind and helpful! The breakfast is fantastic and free every day from select hours and all around us are gorgeous nature views and paths! The bathroom wasn't bad but be careful of water spilling out of the tub - really that's are main compliant but others we had a lovely time, thanks to the staff at Hotel Grauholz!"

"This perfect, little quaint hotel is almost a hidden gem. The town Arlesheim (Dornach) is a small town just outside Basel. Easy transit getting here. We were lucky to check in early and had a wonderful room overlooking the garden. The hotel manager and all the staff are very warm, welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel. "

"A different experience hotel than a standard stay, if you are a motor enthusiast it’s the place to stay and the aquarium and the restaurants are worth mentioning as well"

"Room was filled with biting insects, many squashed on the walls. Very tired and dated room. No drink making facilities in the room. Breakfast was stale pastries which weren't restocked - really not to be recommended sadly. Staff were friendly when we arrived, but different staff in the morning less so."
