The Space:
Welcome to your dream retreat with breathtaking views of Lake Wanaka and the Southern Alps, this home offers you luxury without compromise.

Architecturally designed and located in an envious elevated position taking full advantage of the impressive views of Lake Wanaka and the Southern Alps. This accommodation is easy walking distance to enjoy the convenience of exploring the boutique shops, art galleries, and delightful cafes and restaurants on offer.

Quality furnishings include an entertainers kitchen and lounge and a fabulous outdoor dining area overlooking the lake and mountains. The property has modern appliances, gas cooking, dishwasher etc. Safety gate is provided for toddlers at the top of stairs.

The master bedroom boasts sunrise views over Mt Iron to the east a panorama of Mt Gold to the north and more lake views to the west.

Very warm in winter, with two heat pumps - one upstairs and one downstairs, a wood burner and electric blankets on all beds.

Situated on popular Anderson Road, just a short walk to the lovely Bremner Bay, sports fields, Wanaka township, cafés and community swimming pool. Excellent mountain biking trails including Sticky Forest are all within riding distance.

This is self-catering accommodation however for your convenience, we will get you started with a few rolls of toilet paper, hand soap, dishwashing liquid and dishwasher detergent along with a couple of tea towels, dishcloth, 2 bin liners and laundry liquid. We use only eco-friendly cleaning products. Sheets and towels are provided. We recommend you bring your own beach towels.

Interaction with Guests:
Wanaka Holiday Homes office hours are Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm and Saturday: 9am to 2pm. We are available after hours for urgent matters. You will be provided with arrival instructions one week prior to arrival.

The property has amazing views across Wanaka and the lake. It's a bit further from the centre of town so probably easier for staying in if you have a car and/or are eating in some nights, as we were. It was very clean and tidy and well-appointed, though the many kitchen drawers and cupboards made it a bit of a challenge to find the right things sometimes! It took us ages to find the tea towels (tucked in by the u-bend under the sink) and it would have been good to have a separate hand towel in the kitchen to avoid having to dry hands on the tea towels, but that's the only (very very minor) gripe. The rooms got very warm in the hot summer days but we dealt with that by closing the blinds/curtains before going out in the morning to keep the sun out and opening lots of windows when we returned at the end of the day. It was brilliant that detergent/soap/shower gel/shampoo/conditioner were provided and that they're refillable ones. It was easy to get access to the property and the recycling and rubbish system was clearly explained. Would highly recommend and would love to stay here again!
