"This is a great venue if you wish to be off grid lifestyle. For us it didn’t quite meet our needs as our dog couldn’t manage the staircase & although we thought we had a shower and separate bathroom we only had a bath.
Hot water is at a premium here we found & lacking in water pressure. But truly a great venue if you wish to unplug, & chill.
One recommendation I would make, to help dogs relax. Is to the make the gardens private with privacy screens. The dog next door was barky & uneasy...

"We enjoyed our stay at this pub. The room was very comfortable and clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was amazing! This is a very old pub building but is cosy and comfortable with a lovely friendly atmosphere, we would definitely go again!"

"We upgraded for a spa suite and were not disappointed! It included a lovely sitting area, big bathroom with shower & bath and a very comfortable bed. As well as straight access into the spa area.
The lady on reception was very helpful when we checked in.
The room was modern, clean and really spacious. There is also a mini fridge and bits for tea, coffee & hot chocolate and bonus cookies which were a lovely extra.
The spa was very busy when we stayed but we still managed to try all the areas we wanted to and found places to relax.
Must add that the breakfast and Piefeast were really good, very tasty food and a great range to try."
"Perfect room for us. We were on the top floor, others may not have liked the sloping ceiling but it was surprisingly cool up there. The breakfast hamper was really fantastic, and having a fridge really helped on a hot few days. The beach is a few minutes walk away and it is a quiet location with space outside. It is fully dog friendly which is great. The bar environment is nice but the food that we ordered in the restaurant was underwhelming for the price. The TV didn't seem to use the aerial, just internet, e.g. going to BBC One would open iPlayer, but we did not care about this and it is probably easily sorted. Would absolutely stay here again."
"Hotel ok, some parts need maintenance, breakfast not special, room was ok, bed comfy, good shower, receptionists very helpful, but hotel in good position for local amenities."
"Nice room with air conditioning (which was a blessing in the recent heatwave!). Lovely dinner choices and even better breakfast. Quirky deli and farm shop nearby. Nice little getaway."
