"We had a great stay!! My kids loved the dock. Its close to the dam to put in your boat and is in a nice neighborhood. We rented the golf cart and used it to go to the dock and back. We left out nintendo switch and property owner was super helpful in getting it back to us. We would definitely recommend!!"

"The lodge was ok we were to tired to do anything or look for food. I cannot comment. It was just an overnight stay to Wisconsin from Florida. Only negative was two lamps did not work but it didnt matter we were to tired to care. All and all it was ok"

"We chose this home because of the close proximity to our family who lives there and the size was perfect for us! Location to the pools and marina were also very close. We had a golf cart to use to get around. The only negatives were it was missing a few basic items that i felt should have been better stocked. (Toilet paper, paper towels, and dishwasher soap). I had messaged the host and was told they would have someone from the team drop it by the next day but that didn’t happen. We had to go out and purchase some ourselves. Otherwise the home was ideal for our stay."

"This house is a jewel. The layout is great for small families or couples looking for a cozy place to stay with great lake views. The kitchen is well appointed, everything worked great and the fire pit is awesome. Will definitely rent this house again in the future. Also communication with the owners was quick and they are very nice."

"We love the Blue Heron! It is clean, cozy and comfortable. The screened porch overlooking the lake is fantastic. The decor throughout the cottage is great. I love the bird prints on the walls. The bed is super comfortable. Everything you need is provided! Gloria is a wonderful hostess and is helpful when asking questions about nearby restaurants…if you decide to leave the cottage! The highlight was getting to watch a blue heron and its partner which appeared more gray than blue and smaller.Miss Mary Bobo’s in Lynchburg is 30 minutes away and definitely worth the trip! You must make reservations. We thought about doing the Jack Daniels Distillery tour while there but decided to do that another time. We also went to The Revolutionary Tavern in the lovely town of Fayetteville which is 20 minutes away. We also enjoyed that. I hope we will be returning soon and often!"
