First, a tree blocks your sign on Miles Rd. so we drove past your entry to the next hotel. Then, we could not get early access to any room, even tho we did not see another human being around the hotel; no one was available to help when we returned, altho a sign was at the front desk that the attendant was helping someone else. So, no, service was not the distinguishing factor at Fairfield. The room was nice and clean. There is no fan however in the bathroom to clear out the "fog" after a shower. The breakfast room is nice enough although undistinguished at best; Besides an over-ripe banana, i had a pre-packaged "omelet" and a sausage patty, both of which were way below par. So, over-all our experience at the Fairfield Inn was quite below par over-all.
