Very nice cosy place, very clean, friendly staff, free basic Mini bar (water, coke and lemonade, muesli bar. not evening food available, but there is a communal bar next to the reception, walking distance to shops and restaurants

Excellent hotel
Nice, clean, quiet, friendly and well-located hotel about 10 min walk from centre of Walldorf. Great sauna too.

Great hotel in a great town close to things.
We loved our stay at this hotel! The staff as very helpful in finding things nearby. It was helpful that they spoke English. The room was small, but very clean and orderly. The breakfast was amazing, really the breakfast was worth the price of the hotel stay. We stay at a lot of hotels and try not to spend more than $100/night. This one was one of the best for the price point.

Nice little Hotel
Originally staying for one night and decided to stay for two nights, staff very helpful and friendly and hotel very comfortable and pleasant, breakfast was excellent and would definitely recommend staying here. 👍😁

Great place
It’s a lovely hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Only downside is the elevator shuts down between 10 pm and 7:00 am. Tasty breakfast, nice service.

Not a comfortable stay but Staff are great
Air conditioning wasn't working; with 86+ degree nights, it was not fun. Water temperature in shower fluctuated unpredictably. German-only options for TV channels. Poor in-room dining options. Service, however, was exceptional.

Worst hotel we stayed in on our 10 day honeymoon
Booked hotel and upon arrival was greeted by a rude worker wondering why we were checking in late. Gave us a room with two single beds even though when booking we made it clear we were on our honeymoon and had booked a queen bed. Got moved to a room with queen bed and the air conditioning didn’t work. When we told the worker she said give it a while and it might turn on. We then asked for ice to put our champagne on and was given maybe 6 cubes. The staff is not helpful the beds and pillows are extremely uncomfortable and the ammemtities don’t work including the air conditioner and the refrigerator. I do not recommend staying here if you can help it.

We have also checked the mini bar which is working. We could not find any defect. We offer different kind of pillows for the comfort of our guests. What you see is not what you get
It is my first time travelling to Germany with my wife. We booked this hotel bearing in mind a few minimum requirements (as we do with all our hotels). Queen/double bed, wifi, cleanliness and car park. This were all part of the descriptions of the room we booked at Astralis. Instead we were given a room with two single beds and no wifi (which was an issues the hotel was aware for days). When asked about the bed situation I was told we were the last to check in hence no other room available, which I don't think is acceptable when the description of the room I booked was clearly for a 'queen' bed. Furthermore if issues with the wifi came up, whilst I appreciate these things can inevitably happen I take it as common courtesy to inform the hotel guests of the situation so we can consider making other arrangements (I.e. Purchase an internet dongle, change hotel etc.) You cannot just tell you guests when they arrive that the room the booked differs to what they were told when they make the booking, especially when you are aware of the situation. Overall room was a bit outdated but comfortable enough to sleep but as a 4 star hotel I find this completely unacceptable. Even 2 or 3 star hotels can accurately provide for what they describe. Unless you are happy to go without wifi and also sleep in separate single beds as a couple, I would avoid this place at all costs.

Nice hotel close to Hockenheim
Very comfortable and relaxed hotel. I used it as a base when motor racing at Hockenheim Ring. It was perfect distance away. Breakfast spread was very impressive and well run

Nice little hotel
Lovely little hotel. Staff was very nice, breakfast was good and rooms were clean and a good size. I enjoyed the sauna and free parking and was surprised when the reception clerk said I could drink everything in the fridge for free. No issues with internet and the hotel had an elevator. I didn't use the bar or go outside the hotel but it was a fairly quiet hotel in a mostly residential area though I did notice a cafe/gelateria just down the street on the corner. Would definitely recommend.

Dated hotel with excellent bkfast
Stopped overnight during our rosd trip through Germany. Hotel dated but clean showing elements of the glamourous 4 stars that it was years ago. Stayed on the top floor within the roof but headroom not a problem. Not having a tea making facility in the room was a little annoying. Must be a German thing as we also did not have it in other hoteks. Heating in the room was excellent. The real clincher was the buffet breakfast spread and the better than average coffee served.

Small, friendly and clean
This hotel is advertised as having "two restaurants" - it does not even have one. There is a breakfast area but the hotel only serves pizza or flamkuchen in the evening which can be ordered in your room or from the bar area. The Astralis is a small hotel, staff are great, bar area is nice and the beer is good. I found the room to be a little too warm (even with the window open) but it was clean and the shower was good. It's just a short walk (10 minutes in either direction) to several local restaurants.

In general we have one breakfast restaurant and a bar where you can have tarte flambee means Flammkuchen or also Pizza! We also drinks in the bar or to the room. You can order that all day long and you can eat and drink in the bar or in your room. If you stay here again let us know during your stay when its too warm so that we can change the temperature. Highly recommended, very clean and peaceful!
We tried to get a room in Hiedelberg, which were all pretty costly when we came upon this just 20 min away. What a great find!! The room was fresh, very clean and lovely. The buffet breakfast was second to non as was the dining room. The hotel is in excellent conditioned, you can tell it's the pride and joy of the owners. VERY comfortable beds with drinks in the mini bar at no charge and many nice, unexpected extras. We wish we had a few more days here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Hotel without AC in all rooms is nowadays totally unacceptable especially during these very hot periods. Not even mosquito nets are installed at the windows that one could open the windows during the night to get a bit colder air. Never again.

Sehr geehrter Gast,wie wir bereits bei Ihrer Abreise festgestellt haben, haben Sie bei Ihrer Buchung nicht angegeben, dass Sie ien Zimmer mit Klimaanlage möchten. Das wäre bei Buchung möglich gewesen.- Bei Ihrer Anreise waren alle Zimmer mit AC belegt. Wie Sie uns mitgeteilt haben, leben Sie aktuell in einem arabischen Land. Hier ist es, aufgrund der klimatischen Bedingungen üblich eine AC und ein MOSQUITONETZ in den Zimmer zu haben. Sie sind aus Deutschland und wissen, dass das recht ungewöhnlich in Deutschland ist. Wir sind aber dran, alle Zimmer mit AC auszurüsten.Vielen Dank für Ihr feedback.

Hotellet ligger kun få minutters kørsel fra motorvej i et roligt kvarter. Fik VIP-behandling med gratis drink i baren. Morgenmadsbuffeen var fantastisk god med lækre retter.
