Jeff was a great host- he was easy to communicate with and accommodated an early checkin. The house was exactly as expected, clean and cozy for our crew of 5, including 3 kids. We enjoyed our stay and a few days at the nearby ski areas.
The Wallace Gem was the perfect spot for our family ski trip to Silver Mt and Lookout Pass. The house looks great on the inside, the hot tub was essential after a long day of skiing and Jeff was a great host. We look forward to making a return trip!
6 of us spent the weekend here and had a great experience! The house was well stocked, clean and comfortable. There were two stand up AC’s and a fan upstairs to help combat the heat this summer has brought. Jeff had great communication. Check in and out were easy and we had a great time! Thank you for sharing your space with us!
1910 remodel very well done! I was concerned being only one bathroom and our group was 4 adults, but functioned well. The yard, jacuzzi, Interior well kept and clean. Kitchen fully stocked with anything you could possibly need ,nice touch with the beverage cooler and chilled glasses. Well done!
Perfect little home to stay in Wallace, ID. Our family enjoyed the jacuzzi and the cleanliness of the home. The location is close to town but not too close for noise, and not far from Silver Mtn. or Lookout Pass. Neighbors are close as stated, one is a tad less friendly, the one closer to the hot tub does not like any noise. Kids laughed a little loud in the morning and she came out and asked them to quiet down, the neighbor the driveway is shared with doesn't care one bit and she will come out and tell you to have fun! Our trip was loaded with snow storms so it was unreal on the mountains! Our anniversary was just what we needed even with the kiddos! We feel very blessed and extremely greatful for the Wallace Gem and Jeff as a host! Come book your stay!
This property is absolutely fantastic for a stay in Wallace. Location is perfect. If you have ever stayed in Wallace, you know that a freeway literally runs straight through the town. The house was far enough away that I don't even think I heard cars on the freeway at all and it was only a 2 minute drive to town! This is a huge plus for any location in Wallace. House was excellent, you can tell it has been recently redone. Kitchen had all the amenities one could need. I was traveling with two of my sons so having the ability to prepare meals at home was huge. Many VRBO properties are "emptied" in that they don't have the basic essentials for making a meal like olive oil, seasonings, tin foil to wrap up left overs, etc. When traveling with a family this is great. I hope they never stop stocking the home with essentials for their guests. House was clean, no hair in the tub, no grime in the bathroom, or beat up furniture. Tv's in the rooms were nice, especially for some down time after a day together. Hot tub was perfect after long days of skiing. Neighborhood was quiet. Easy to communicate with the host, very responsive and accommodating. To top off everything, checkout was a breeze. This was a fantastic VRBO experience and I wouldn't hesitate to book again.
Wonderful! Fully stocked home, hot tub and smokeless fire pit amazing! Don’t let the one bathroom stop you from this place , we had 2 family of 6 and it was no problem at all ! A/c wonderful , beds very comfy with nice linens , large tvs thru out with Roku ! We will definitely be back

Very nice, cozy house! It was clean and the host, Jeff, checked in with us daily to see if we needed anything. We really enjoyed the hot tub and back yard. We rode our ATVs on Moon Pass to Avery and to Dominion Peak on the Continental divide. The only negative was the visitor center. The hours were only from 10 to 1. Our research had said we could get paper trails maps there. However, not much was available for that and the people working weren't very knowledgeable about the trails
