"Property had not received our booking but luckily they had availability. Room was clean, staff were lovely and well meaning but we were given wrong information about breakfast. Don’t stay there on a Monday night- no dining options open and you have to go into town (the Mexican restaurant in McRae has average food but the biggest beer we’ve ever had) We were told they served breakfast on a Tuesday morning but discovered that was closed too so another trip back into town (found a family diner...

"Fantastic find! It’s hard to find an authentic bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Meadows room. We came with our son, who had a twin bed and bedroom of his own with his own TV. We had a 4 post queen bed with our own tv. The shared bathroom was off our room and had shampoo/conditioner and body wash. We didn’t use the shower, but it was a cute bathtub with had held shower. Netflix was the only option for TV watching. Breakfast was wonderful! Eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, grits, and a muffin with coffee, OJ, water or apple juice. Lori offered us suggestions on places to eat and was delightful. Great place!"
