The suite was so comfortable and spacious (large couch with pillows and blanket plus a king-sized bed. I loved the enormous stand-alone tub in the bathroom which also had a washer-dryer. The kitchenette was well-supplied. There is an in-and-out garage next to the hotel. The hotel is in the center of town. The staff were cheerful and helpful. Every time I visit Dunedin, I stay at the Distinction Dunedin.

Welcoming, friendly and flexible. Very spacious bedroom and bathroom. Clean and well maintained. Bed mattress felt a bit old but we still managed a good sleep. Convenient location. Easy walk to restaurants and city centre. Just a few minutes walk to Otago University, museum, hospital, botanic garden, etc. Ideal for a family.
