"This small and charming hotel sits high upon the hill, overlooking a nearby village and the Oliphant Tea Factory. It's a quiet location, with stunning rooms - which is a welcome change if you're staying mostly in guest houses or big resorts. The staff goes out of their way to make sure everything is perfect, and the sounds and smells of nature were great - if you like the sound of birds chirping, this is a place for you. There's one tree with tons of them (they said 1,000 but I couldn't wrap my...

"De lobby was kil en sfeerloos. Overal felwitte spaarlampen. Slechte acoustiek zoals in een grot. De suite was groot en met gigantische terrassen met zicht al om. Het bed was van goede kwaliteit. De afwerking van de suite liet te wensen over. Er waren overweldigend veel knoppen voor de verlichting (wederom witte spaarlampen). De afwerking kon beter. Geen kitranden, losse wandcontactdozen, losse deurslot. Het bad werd niet warm genoeg. We hebben bijgevuld met de waterkoker. Het diner was een...

What a fantastic experience it was staying here. Please ask for Indu to pick you up and drive you around in either his spacious van or locally tuk tuk. He also has a small store nearby with a lovely helpful family. He is a gentleman. The host family are just beautiful people. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are extremely comfortable and well appointed. The views are breathtaking. They also cooked dinner for us one night - which was superb. We were advised to stay here by both family and...

A Peaceful Home Away From Home Our family absolutely loved our stay at Tathya Hills Luxury Retreat. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true home away from home. Nestled in the hills just a short drive from the town centre and Lovers Leap Waterfall, the property offers a peaceful escape surrounded by beautiful scenery. Our family room was spotless, modern, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for our family of four. The bathroom was well-appointed, and the heater kept the...

Thanks to Villam, Sanjaya and the team. This is a great little sanctuary nestled just off the main road as you head into town from Kandy. We loved the staff and owner here - they treated us like family and we felt like we were staying with friends. The hotel is only very very recently opened, and they are still building their boutique service. This will improve with time and we could not speak more highly of their warmth and enthusiasm. No doubt with time, they will become more well-oiled. The food was excellent, the rooms were super comfortable and the location, while a little out of town, is only a short tuk-tuk ride away -...
