My partner and I booked this stay for a long weekend visiting from Canada and had an absolute incredible time. The property is an oasis! Quiet, clean, well-decorated and stunning! The hosts were kind, accommodating, and very friendly. Highly, highly recommend booking this stay!!
My family and I came from Michigan for a wedding. We needed to get in a little early because of the wedding rehearsal and the host was very accommodating! Very clean home with sooo much charm! Definitely would stay there again!

That’s not a lake
Renting while renovating isn’t a good idea.
The place was okay even though the body of water is closer to a mud puddle than it is a lake.
We loved this house. Situated on a lake with a beautiful view from the large deck and enjoyed sitting out their ti watch the starts. Plenty of windows across the back of the house to enjoy the view all day long. The house is very comfortable and smartlyv decorated in very taste. The kitchen has everything you need. A large collection of good looking pots and pans, several types of coffee pots including Kureic and a new stove top too! Everything you need for your stay! We’d come back to this country gem!
This place was excellent for my family! We have relatives that are local and wanted to stay as close as we could to them. This was perfect! From the day of Gracie was wonderful with supplying all the proper info needed. When we arrived the place was spotless! We traveled with our two children who enjoyed checking out the lake. I would only say it might be harder for two couples since the one bathroom is in the bedroom. It was great for us though. Everything is spacious, clean, and properly cared for! The kitchen was fully equipped! Would stay again when we head back to Wake Forest! Thank you Gracie you are a top notch host!
The location is beautiful and has a lot of potential. The inside of the house was clean and super homey. The accuracy is a tad bit off.. this is listed as a 2br and one of them is closed for “renovations” which was not stated at all in the listing, leaving us with someone without a bed as this place does not sleep the amount it claims. The kitchen burners do not work but they have portables that took over an hour to cook eggs on. The home was missing essentials although it was stated these were provided however, owner was quick to drop these things off to us. Overall, if the place was finished being remodeled, this would be the perfect tranquil getaway.
it does state there’s lots of nature around. which is true. and lots of mud wasps at the front of the house and inside the house .
