Excellent stay

The staff is extremely helpful. Breakfast is great and the hotel is just 4-5 min walking distance to Petra visitor centre. Highly recommended!

Excellent small well positioned hotel for Petra.The staff give very good advice for visiting Petra which we followed and recommend others to do the same.Good on site parking if you are travelling by car.

Perfect stay - very friendly staff

this hotel is fantastic. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the ruins entrance. staff was super-friendly. breakfast was good and they also provide a lunch box for your trekking to Petra. highly reccomended!

The room was ok, but clean. The service was excellent. Whatever you need they will try to help. Over all I was happy with the stay. Will most likely stay there again if I’m in the area.

Front desk clerk was amazing! She gave us some tips for hiking Petra from the backside to the front which worked great! Having hiked Petra before from the front this allowed us to see another side and saved us on time. The hotel was simple and clean with great staff! Will stay here anytime we come to the area!

We stayed 3 nites in this hotel. The family is awesome in meeting all our needs. The breakfast was good and for 10dinars they make a very tasty dinner. The beds were comfortable and rooms clean. The hotel was only a 10 min walk from the Petra entrance. There are shops and restaurants inn walking distance. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Amazing service and hospitality

While this may be a two star hotel, the level of service is beyond 5 star. The staff at this small hotel are absolutely amazing! They provided very helpful info and went above and beyond to make sure mother and I were comfortable. After a full day at Petra, they saw how tired and sore we were so they made us a hot oil with herbs to rub on our legs and back. They offer laundry and an on-site dinner. They were accommodating to our dietary needs. Rooms are simple but function for what you need - comfortable bed and good shower. Also very clean! I cannot say enough good things about the people who run this hotel!!!

Super location and service at Petra Aretas Hotel! This hotel is just up a steep hill from Petra. Very convenient location and reasonable price. Disclosure: due to the situation in the middle East, we were the ONLY guests in the whole hotel. But even so, the front staff were always friendly and helpful! The usual included buffet breakfast was not offered due to us being the only 3 guests in the hotel but instead the staff prepared us personal breakfast, and very generous portions! Olives, breads, eggs cooked to order. Amazing! Our night clerk even shared his shisha (hooka) with us. Amazing hospitality! We cannot say enough about this fabulous hotel and service. The only downside is the surrounding area since Wadi Musa is rather poor and run down (the view from our room looked like a demolition site, full of trash and rubble). But that is not any slight on the hotel. We rate this a full 5 stars rating and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful property, and amazing value for something less than a 10 minute walk to the Petra visitor center. Mohammed-Ali made check-in beyond seamless and even after check-in made staying here feel warm and a very pleasant experience in general. Room was clean, as were the common areas, bed was comfortable, no complaints in that department. Cannot recommend staying here enough.

Wonderful Place.

I stayed here for a few days while visiting Petra. The staff are amazing, super friendly and helpful, even offering me a tour of the various view points. My room was fine and the bed is comfortable. There is a convenience store close by and a few restaurants. Breakfast is fantastic and includes eggs. The walk to the hotel from the entrance at Petra is 15 minutes and all uphill.
