Songbird Haven Cozy Country Getaway

  • Songbird Haven, our cozy 2 BR/1 BA country cottage, is 10 miles from the Silos, Magnolia and Baylor and just 3 miles from Homestead Craft Village and the Ploughshare Institute. If you’re traveling alone, with a spouse or friend, or in a group up to 5, our super clean cottage provides a comfy and peaceful space to unwind after a busy day. The front porch is a great place to rock your cares away! (No parties, please. Only REGISTERED guests are allowed on our property at any time day or night.)

    Our super CLEAN 2 BR/ 1 BA cottage, fitted with modern conveniences and comfy furnishings throughout, offers travelers a truly relaxing and refreshing country stay on the outskirts of Waco. There’s lots of room for up to 5 guests to spread out with 860 sq ft of living space, which includes a full living and dining area, a large kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom. The large front porch offers a beautiful space to enjoy good coffee and good conversation amidst the melodies of wild songbirds.
    NO LONG TERM BOOKINGS
    No bookings longer than 14 days, please.

    NO PARTIES ALLOWED:
    Songbird Haven is NOT a party house. No day guests allowed. No sleepovers except for registered guests. No more than 5 registered guests are allowed at the cottage or on our property at any time.

    NO PETS
    Certified service dogs are allowed with proof of certification. Please contact host.

    Only registered guests are allowed on our property at anytime during the day or night.

    We do make exception for out-of-town Baylor parents who would like to spend time visiting with their college kids at the cottage. You will have lots of privacy and may never see us, but the owners do live on the property. So it’s important for us to know who is on our property at all times. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

    BOOK ACCURATELY: Airbnb requires that you book the correct number of guests checking in (and so do we). You agree to notify us of any changes in the number of guests before or during your stay.

    MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY NOT TO EXCEED 5 PERSONS: No more than 5 registered guests are allowed at the cottage or on our property at any time.

    NO SMOKING and NO VAPING: No smoking in the cottage or on the property.

Only 1 thing was wrong...

The place is great. This is our 3rd or 4th time to stay here. The ONLY thing that brings down the rating is the foul mouth person staying in a different place on the property. As my wife and I enjoyed a beautiful, cool eveing on the porch, a guy gets dropped off and starts yelling at the person who drove him. Multiple F-bombs at the top of his lungs lasted for awhile. After the driver left the property, the guy started yelling at someone who was in the place he was staying. Not going to lie, my wife and I got a little worried he might decide to start yelling at us. I know ya'll can't have any control over that guy's behavior, but it did put a damper on our experience.

Great place to stay ! No issues . Waco not to far and property manager told us about Homestead Heritage which was about 2 miles away from property . That was a great place to visit. My husband and I loved our getaway.
