"Everything was taken care of well by the host. It's in an older hotel, which has its charm. My only drawback was that the bed wasn't all that comfortable. Overall a good stay though."

"Lovely historic hotel with modern amenities in the heart of a small town on the river front. Once checked in I could have all of my needs met by foot! A nice brewery, restaurants and the river front all within a mile. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever enjoyed in a hotel. Hours are spotty, but I did get to enjoy both the basement Speakeasy as well as the dining room for breakfast. Wonderful stay overall."

"The Sunday breakfast was outstanding as was their service. I don’t know if that’s available during the week as there don’t seem to be any other breakfast options in town. Not having any hotel staff onsite was unusual but must be the only viable way of keeping the hotel going. "

"We loved the property and area. The historic nature is wonderful. This unit, though, had an exceedingly small bathroom and shower. I am not particularly large, but I had to turn sideways to get into the shower stall. "

"We were in the worst room in the hotel. The others we saw were decorated nicely and upgraded with a frig and microwave. Our room had wallpaper pealing, cracks in the walls, a faucet dripping, and a brick openly seen under one bed post and a 2x4 under another to level the bed. We like the hotel for its rich history but our room shouldn’t be a rental! I would stay again at another room. "
