"The temperature was fine. Noticed no hot water at the sink but fine in the shower. Used both the microwave and the mini refrigerator. Appreciated both and the table to eat at. A room with twin beds for a solo traveler would save the housekeeper having to remake a 3/4 unused king bed! The Pilgrim Inn is my "home-away-from-home twice a year!"

"I had an absolutely amazing time here, it is even more beautiful than the pictures. Where do I begin! Right from the start we were greeted by welcoming staff who gave us a tour of the property on a golf cart as we reached our cabin. Golf carts are offered and easily available for a lift to anywhere within the property that you’d like. The shower pressure was perfect and hot as well. Our cabin was curated to feel cozy and came equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels. The saunas and locker rooms were beautifully made. We enjoyed spending timing at the lake going kayaking as well and then sitting at the fire pit to star gaze. We also enjoyed playing pickleball/tennis at the court. My only quip would be that the pool water is still quite cool despite being heated. The whole property is an experience in itself. You can tell it was produced with a lot of meticulous attention to detail. I am already dreaming of when I can come back here! "

"Wonderful stay at this property!! We really enjoyed the beautiful house, pool and grounds. We did have an issue with the fire pit however the house manager responded very quickly. The problem was solved and the equipment was in working order the same day. The location was close to town and two large supermarkets. We hope to return again to this beautiful property! Great place!"
"I loved staying in this house for a month. The large screened porch was my favorite place to sit in the morning with a good cup of coffee and a book. Extremely well equipped with kitchenware, it was a joy to cook, there was plenty of space for me and my guests, and I enjoyed the proximity to Great Barrington restaurants and stores and Lake Mansfield. Didier was always responsive and helpful."
"Entire house, including bathrooms were very clean. Open, airy and private as advertised. Decks on the East and South great for relaxing and eating. Only minor downside is that the limited shoulders on Alford road require extreme caution if walking to town. Not a problem for cyclists, however. We have vacationed in the Berkshires for over 35 years. This property rates in our top 1-2%."
