The room was cle, well maintained and comfortable with an ability to make tea/coffee which I find rare in France so far. "This hotel was an absolute gem! Comfortable, charming, quiet, and loaded with authentic character worthy of its 11th century origins. The front desk staff were especially helpful in answering our questions about the area. Consider upgrading to a room with a private balcony for some lovely outdoor views. One helpful hint: If you're using a GPS, enter the actual address (2 rue du Maréchal Foch) otherwise you may be directed to the actual Abbaye d'Alspach monastery in nearby Kayserberg."
