  • This side of the renovated farmhouse, is the oldest part of the estate. Some hunting frescos in the dining/living room prove its origin as an hunting hut although it has been a farmer house and a stable too. The date 1850 is probably when the house was converted from hunting lodge to farmhouse. There are also 2 apartments, one for the caretaker and one, seldom used, for the owners. Very old large working farm "Podere Valle di Sotto". 2 km from the centre of Volterra, 30 km from the centre of San Gimignano, 40 km from the centre of Pisa, in a quiet position on top of a hill, in the countryside. Private: garden, swimming pool (6 x 12 m, depth 120 - 200 cm, seasonal availability: 15.May. - 27.Sep.) with internal staircase and salt-electrolysis pool-cleaning system. Table tennis, garden furniture, barbecue, children's playground. In the house: with TV, internet access, washing machine. Room cleaning on request (extra). Motor access (via unmade road). Parking at the house. Shop 2 km, restaurant 2 km, bus stop 2 km, railway station 10 km.
    5-room semi-detached house 115 m2 on 2 levels, on the ground floor. Rustic furnishings: large living/dining room with 1 double sofabed, dining nook and satellite TV. Kitchen (4 hot plates, oven, dishwasher, microwave, freezer, electric coffee machine) with dining table, open-hearth fireplace. Shower/WC. Upper floor: 1 room with 1 bed and 1 french bed. 1 room with 2 beds. 1 room with 2 beds. Shower/bidet/WC. Porch. Terrace furniture, barbecue. Very beautiful panoramic view of the countryside.
