"We loved the house, it was so clean and nice inside. It had a lot of space. There was breakfast food in the fridge which was great, and we loved having access to the washer. The only downside was it was a little far from the center of Venice. The buses do pretty good going there, but it was a little more difficult during the holiday."

"It was difficult for my cab driver to find apparently and he left me off at the catessera resort. I had to get a ride a short distance after the cab let me off but I could not have walked it with all the luggage I had. I was pleased there was an elevator. There is a large menu on a stand right where you check in and there was no dinner service… so don’t mind the menu. They did have a nice breakfast buffet. There is a nice little restaurant within walking distance. I felt safe as a single older female walking back from the restaurant in the dark. There were other people walking and there was enough lighting. The staff at the hotel were all very helpful and called me a taxi when it was time to leave. I didn’t use any amenities. My room was cute but there was a layer of dust on the lamps and the ceiling beams that are enormous wooden logs. Otherwise it was very clean. The old fashioned doors were really cool. The room had decent a/c even in the heat."
