"This hotel is a 10 minute ride to downtown and the train station. The rooms are great, however there is no air conditioning, which was miserable in the heat of summer. Even if you cool the room down at night by opening doors, for some reason the room heats up again. It was 28.5 degrees Celsius in my room with no way to cool it down. They say they have "cooling units" that they can put in your room, but these are no more than fans that blow hot air around. Staff was pleasant and helpful... when...

"The staff was very friendly and helpful which you don’t always get in Czech unfortunately. The restaurant was surprisingly good, the pork chop was the best I ever had. The rooms were nice and clean, exactly what we needed while in town for Brutal Assault."

"The hotel is well located and close to the city center. Staff was nice and very helpful. The room was comfortable but furniture looks old and a bit worn but it was enough for our stay. A final observation is that our room was next to the parking lot and there was delivery at 6am, so it was a bit disturbing for our sleep."

"Check in was done ahead of time. Ok for us, but I had to help another couple later who hadn’t. The apartment was beautifully clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. There are teabags and 2 coffee pods to start with. We didn’t use the cooking facilities but there appeared to be everything you might need. The TVs weren’t connected to the internet so not smart TVs. There are 9 parking spaces in front of and adjacent to the building, good for motorcycles. It’s a 7-8 minute walk to St Barbara’s, less to the old town. There is a large shared kitchen with coffee pods, drinks and snacks available for a fee. A very nice place to stay…"

"The hotel has something of an 'old world' charm. We appreciated very secure parking for our bicycles and early check-in. One of the young waiters in the restaurant was particularly helpful, with excellent English. The reception staff helped us make a phone call to another hotel for future bookings.The breakfast was fine - nothing special. The room was comfortable and quiet and clean."

"Really cool hotel in an ancient Medieval building right in the heart of the city. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and I love that it was downstairs in the old wine cellar. And our room was MASSIVE and had a great shower and lots of closet space and shelves. I also love the free coffee, tea and snacks in the lobby that we could access 24 hours a day."
