"I stayed at IRIS Garden for two nights in late April 2026 as part of a wider "odyssey" across mainland Greece. This turned out to be a really good choice. The room is more like a little flat with its own kitchen - nice and clean. Outside is a little terrace where you can have your breakfast (which the host will have delivered to you at the time of your choice) in the morning and a nice, cold glass of Retsina in the evening. "Hôtel familial des années 70 qui a été Rénové en 2023. Très belle piscine bien entretenu, personnel sympathique, surtout au bar et à la réception. La nourriture est très bonne et relativement variée. Les équipes d’animation très sympathiques et mettant l’ambiance sans forcer les gens à participer. Points négatifs : manque de rangements dans les chambres, une grande armoire avec 3 cintres et aucune tablette, dans la salle de bain manque d’accroche pour les serviettes, la vue sur une rafinerie et la taille de la plage, très petite, . La climatisation de la chambre 402 fonctionne très mal. Dans l’ensemble un hôtel que je recommande notamment pour les familles avec enfants."

"The hotel beautiful and the staff was extremely nice and accommodating compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at during our time in Greece. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived. One of dining staff brought me a frappe (no charge!) and they upgraded our room to ocean front view. Comfy beds. The beach was lovely as well as the quick food/drink service. However, you should get out to claim your umbrella/loungers early by 9:30am the latest to be on the safe side as it fills up! We only stayed two nights, but I would def stay longer next time during the week. Weekends the beach is crazy busy with local Athenians. Breakfast buffet had tons of options and attentive staff cleaning up/setting tables. My only complaint was the shower. I had noticed water stains on the bathroom floor and what looked like mold in the corners of the bathroom and shower floor. The shower water seeped under the glass over to the toilet sink area while I showered. We told the front desk it needed mopping and that there was an issue. They sent up someone up quickly. He did something with the drain and told us it was all set, but didn’t mop it up. And one of us still had to shower. It flooded again. We had to go back down to tell them and they sent up a separately lady to clean it. Clearly there’s an issue with the shower and needs proper attention. We only stayed two nights but any longer we would have requested a room change and I’m sure staff would have accommodated us."

Pefkaki Boutique Hotel Loutraki

8/10 Good

"We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times as it breaks the journey to Athens airport nicely for us. The rooms are comfortable, clean, it's reasonably priced and under 10 minutes walk to the wonderful Loutraki thermal spa. On a slightly negative note the restaurant menu and breakfast were not as good as we have experienced in the past."

10/10 Excellent

"Room with a small private pool. Not cheap but very nice. Mini fridge in room kept our waters cool but no freezer. Bath was good but shower had no light in it so you had to take a shower in the dark which wasn't great. Breakfast had a good selection but the cooked options left a lot to be desired. Didn't try the main pool as why would you when you have your own. No on site or in room laundry facility, you have to have it taken away and returned a few days later at an extra cost. Loutraki is a short car ride away and very nice."
