"While we were there our son went into medical distress. The staff at the store and the reception desk were absolutely amazing. So kind, caring, and thoughtful. My son and I didn’t get to finish our stay there but they sent food packages with the rest of our family for our hospital stay. At the end of the day, a hotel is just a hotel….it’s the staff and people that make the experience. 10/10 experience. "

"A lovely traditional house in a typical Cretan village away from the tourist hotspots. Our host spoke good English and was very welcoming and helpful. The bakery sells wonderful trays of Baklava which we enjoyed on our spacious roof terrace, a great place for breakfast too. "

"Good location outside of town. Parking in gravel lot down the street not bad. Short walk and a bit dangerous for unloading luggage in front of hotel in traffic. Owner very nice and very helpful with suggestions of what to do. Other staff helpful in suggesting restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Beach is rocky, but water refreshing. Bed linens could use updating and futon in our room needed to be replaced, but overall a descent place to stay for the price."

"The location near the wineries was amazing. I loved the restaurant there and the views were gorgeous. Make sure to take the day trip to Matala beach!"

"The owners were amazingly courteous, friendly, and professional. The property was beautiful and clean, and all staff were always willing to help in any way they could. The pool was always refreshing and relaxing, and there was a fully-stocked pool bar for drinks. Meals were served buffet style, and the dining area oversaw the pool. The rooms had either pool view, mountain view, or partial sea view. I would definitely stay here again! <3"

"If you want to relax and enjoy the beach then this place is perfect. We enjoyed having a kitchenette so that when we wanted a little break from the beach, we could quickly go back to our room and have a snack. The staff always ensured that our room was clean and if we needed anything then they were able to assist us (ex. Calling a taxi or printing a voucher). "

"The hotel is lovely--a beautiful propertywith modern, clean rooms, very comfortable beds, and well-equipped bathrooms with wonderful, large showers! The staff--especially Athena--were extremely helpful and eager to please. The breakfast buffet was truly amazing and contained a large (and changing) variety of dishes, including some Cretan specialties. "
