La Maison de Montfort – A beautiful characterful building in the heart of the Dordogne Valley. This cut-stone house, built in 1851 and completely renovated in 2013, now offers all modern comforts in an authentic setting. Located in the heart of the village of Montfort, it boasts a remarkable view of the castle and a large, wooded garden of 2,500 m². An ideal place to get together with family or friends, just a stone's throw from the Dordogne River and the many outdoor activities the region has to offer. All linens and end-of-stay cleaning are included in the rental (laundry and cleaning fees). On the ground floor, the spaces are designed to be practical and pleasant to live in. You will find a modern and well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room, a convivial dining room for shared meals, as well as a toilet and laundry room, very useful for stays of several days. The ground floor has two quiet and comfortable double bedrooms, as well as a cot for families travelling with young children. A bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet complete this level, offering everything needed for a relaxing stay. On the second floor, two large open-plan attic bedrooms offer four single beds. This space is perfect for children or friends. A bathroom with shower and sink is also available on this floor. Outside, the large wooded garden invites relaxation, outdoor meals and shared moments facing Montfort Castle. The Dordogne River is just a short walk away, ideal for canoeing, swimming, or strolls along the riverbank. Motorcyclists will also appreciate the option of a shelter or enclosed garage for secure parking.
