"When we arrived we were given our room key, went to the room, unloaded the vehicle only to find the room was already occupied. Fridge was not cold and the air conditioner leaked water everywhere. We also had ants everywhere on our last night. The property is beautiful though and conveniently located. The view of The Watchman from the pool is spectacular."

"I arrived at red lion early for my check-in, I went to the desk to inquire if they did early check-in’s and two young ladies proceeded to get my information and stated they didn’t have a problem doing early check-in after 11 AM, mind you there was no one else at the desk. The hotel looked to have few people staying there, after taking my license and my name and getting started on the computer the two girls, I apologize. I didn’t get their names because no one was wearing a badge or a uniform., the two girls were stopped by a third lady named Ashley ( manger)who stated we’re not doing early check-in’s today, she handed me my license and walked off. She did not apologize or give a reason, just left., my wife and I as well as our two kids drove around St. George and found a place to eat lunch after which we returned to the hotel. It was now 3 o’clock, which was their posted check-in time and now I had to wait for roughly 30 minutes due to a new system being installed and no one being very comfortable or familiar with how to operate it, meanwhile Ashley poked her head out from her office and said something to one of the girls and then left, after about 30 minutes I was able to get checked in and given two keys to a room, I went to the room and the keys didn’t work. Long story short service was bad. The room was bad. The refrigerator didn’t work, and the bedding was falling apart in the room. I waited to post a review because I wished to enjoy the rest of my vacation.."

"The rooms are dated but obviously you can tell based on the pictures on the website and the price. The room I had smelled like stinky feet or wet carpet not properly dried, after turning the air on and getting the ventilation moving it smelled better but honestly made me question how clean the room was & if it was worth the lower rate. 3/5. Breakfast was the standard included with hotel stay breakfast. Nothing spectacular. 3/5. Was able to spend a small amount of time at the pool and gym. Pool was quiet and nice. 4/5. Gym had very basic and simple cardio equipment but a nice machine for strength and some barbells. Had the cardio equipment been better quality would’ve given it a higher score 4/5."
