Domaine l'Ancienne École is a vineyard set on the plateau above the village of Vinsobres amongst its vines and neighbouring lavender fields.

This detached villa is across a courtyard from the main building and overlooks Domaine l'Ancienne Ecole's vineyard and neighbouring lavender fields. Les Marronniers has an open-plan living/dining room with wood burning stove, underfloor heating, a well-equipped kitchen, WC and a spacious covered terrace. Upstairs there are 3 double bedrooms (master bedroom with en-suite shower room, bedroom with large double or twin beds and a third bedroom with bunk beds), a bathroom and a WC.

A fabulous place

If you want quietude in the north of Cote du Rhône and Provence, this is it. Fabulous hosts, wonderful winery, wonderful space and kitchen. Just a treasure. I stayed nearly two months and couldn’t be happier. Best to all who stay here.

Séjour vélo

Nous avons passé un super séjour au Domaine de l’ancienne école. Le gîte est bien agencé, un calme complet règne sur place. Il est situé sur un plateau entre Vinsobres et Valreas, au milieu des vignes, avec une superbe piscine a débordement. La propriétaire est à l’écoute et disponible pour toute demande. Dégustation de leurs vins possible, excellents vins. Bref, je recommande.

Muy buena ubicación para descansar y disfrutar del silencio

Lo que más nos gustó fue la paz que se respira a partir de que anochece, al estar alejada de carreteras apenas se oye ningún rumor y el cielo nocturno es muy limpio. Además es un buen punto de partida para realizar varias de las rutas de la lavanda de mediados de junio y la Provenza en general.

très belle restauration. cadre idyllique pour le repos. Logement très confortable, joliment arrangé. Un plus : linge de maison fourni. Nous sommes repartis tous très enchantés, les petits enfants heureux d'avoir profité de la piscine à débordement, nous étions proches du mont Ventoux. Nous pouvons entre autres, déguster les vins de la propriété. Location bien située pour visiter Merci à Anna pour nous avoir rendu ce séjour agréable. Une location comme on rêve de trouver après un long trajet. Adresse à retenir

Maison avec de très belles prestations Propriétaires accueillants Environnement magnifique ( cadre et région ) Excellents vins à déguster Tout est réuni pour un super séjour. À noter : absence de micro-ondes et réseau portable et wifi peut fiable ( un peu difficile à vivre pour des ado mais une cure de désintoxication ça fait pas de mal!!).

Direkt in den Weinfeldern gelegn....

+ Sehr schönes Haus mitgenügend Platz und allem, was man sich für die Küche wünscht. Toller Pool mit gemütlicher Terrasse und Garten. Richtig schön ruhig. Nette Vermieter! Jederzeit wieder - Das seperate Badezimmer im Doppelzimmer war ohne Toilette, was etwas gestört hat. Zudem war es sehr warm in den Zimmern. Ließ man die Fenster offen, hatte man leichten Ärger mit den Mücken. Ein Moskito-Netz ist bei einem Besuch angeraten. Der nächste Laden ist zudem doch einige km entfernt. Wer frische Baguettes mag, muss fahren! (die Gegend ist Serpentinenreich)

A wonderful place

We enjoyed our stay in this welcoming gite. Very spacious, nicely decorated. Very well equipped. We enjoyed the calm of it and obviously the lovely swimming-pool even if this year the weather and temperature wasn't as hot as usual. The views on the vineyard are refreshing and soothing.

The Perfect Holiday Retreat

With stunning views over the vineyards and towards Mt Vaucluse this is the perfect holiday retreat. With its stunning location, superb infinity pool and spacious well equipped accomodation the villa was hard to leave at the end of our stay. The owners were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area and their personalised tour of the winery was fascinating and emphasised their passion for their wine and the hard work that they put into it. The well equipped villa was immacculately presented and the accomodation itself very comfortable. Visits to local markets are a must- we particularly enjoyed Vaison where you can also see the remains of the Roman town, but you need to get there early! Further afield but definitely worth visiting are the Roman sites at Orange, the Papal Palace at Avignon and the stunning Ardeche gorge where you can hire a canoe and paddle under its famour rock arch. Cant wait to go again! Would definitety recommend it
