"This lake house was the perfect place for our family! We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy Smith Lake. We cooked on the Weber grill every day and enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets from the deck. The pontoon boat and water toys were perfect for the teenagers and young adult grandchildren too. We are already making plans to return!"

"Good location being only a minute to the public boat ramp. Parking big enough for my truck and boat along with 3 other vehicles, including a SeaDoo. Clean place. Recommend making available more trash bags and updating mattresses and pillows. The property owner was very helpful in getting us access to the house when VRBO couldn't get their act together in getting us access via OneKey. VRBO support was pathetic, but the property owner was great."

"We had a wonderful time at Emerald Escape. The design and decorating inside and the view outside is great. We had such a good and restful time. The mornings out on the upper and lower level with a cup of coffee were just so refreshing. We also spent some time on the dock swimming and watching all the action on the lake. We definitely used the grill each day cooking steaks, hamburgers, and hotdogs. We just loved the quiet and peace especially in the mornings where so many other popular vacation...

"This is definitely the best place we have ever stayed. We stay here year after year and each time they do more and more updates. Our family loves the quiet dead end road, the game room is perfect for the kids and the large patio is a perfect place to enjoy the shaded view of the kids swimming. It’s not too many steps to the water and the boat dock is perfect for our boat. We have also caught tons of fish."

"The house is a very nice place to stay. Very clean on the inside but the porches where we liked to hang out had a few too many spider webbs. Just needed a good pressure washing. It was very easy to make contact with the owners. They were quick to respond with answers to any questions. The road getting to the property is rough. We had our boat with us and it was extremely difficult to get the boat down that road. Definitely recommend putting in at clear creek if you have a boat any larger than a...

"We gathered to celebrate my son’s 23rd birthday. We didn’t need 2 areas for cooking but having the extra space was nice. 3 refrigerators was a plus. It rained at some point on most days but had plenty of games or just chill and read a book. We used the paddle boards and played corn hole too. Wonderfully quiet place in a neighborhood with large lots."

"This rental has everything that you will need when staying on the lake. Kayaks, life jackets, and paddle board were all provided. All of the cooking materials that you could need along with some basic spices. The grounds are beautiful and the house sleeps a lot people comfortably. The owner was very responsive with any questions. They even provide some snacks and basic essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soap, etc… i highly recommend this rental."
