"The staff are brilliant (especially monsieur parfait :-) ) they are all proud and invested in the success of the place , you get a real team vibe abou it . I have stayed here twice in one month now and both times was made to feel soooooo welcome, the first time was as a solo traveler in the pouring rain when as a late arrival I was given a hot meal and a warm welcome, the second time was with a colleague when we ventured out to the nearby excellent restaurant, after enjoying a drink in the hotel bar The hotel is newly renovated and superbly clean, it’s in a quiet location but not far from the highway. It should not be classified a two star hotel, it should be a three star , which it definitely will be as soon as the classification board see the renovations etc, (the hotel is currently awaiting reclassification) all the staff are super friendly and helpful. The pool area , although not open when I stayed due to the season, looks lovely, the breakfast was simple but good and good value for money. Overall the hotel is not pretentious, but wecoming , clean and comfortable, I will definitely be back and will be recommending to my colleagues , it will be our go to place when we are passing through to the south of France and italy / Spain or working in Dijon "

"I liked this hotel and the staff were excellent keep in mind this is an old hotel that was in good condition. The hotel and the rooms were cold. It was the first cold snap of the year and it was cold in the rooms. Even at 0°c outside, inside you still needed a jacket inside. The restaurant was good and the pizzas were pretty tasty. There are a ton of places to eat in this town and quite a variation. "

"A very quiet, cosy property that is ideal for a relaxed and peaceful area of France that is like no other. Many pleasant rural walks, and unspoilt small towns where the Jura identity shines through. Warm autumn weather gave us plenty of opportunity for walking, watching the raptors, relaxing, several BBQs ... and regular visits the extremely friendly dog. A good appetite is essential ..... Local produce, Morteau sausage, Cheeses from the region and the almost exclusive presence of Jura wines make meals eaten at home or in restaurants a truly Jura pleasure. "The hosts, Flo and Caro, were most welcoming and helpful. The rental is an entire floor in their renovated farmhouse - separate from the family's living space. It was so comfortable, so well-equipped. The village is small and rural, but very close to the larger town of Salins-le-Bains. The scenery is spectacular. Many local hiking trails nearby. We stayed for almost four weeks. It was very healing. We would definitely book again."
