"We stay regularly in this hotel, can compare. The level of comfort is dicreasing through the years, needs a lot of investment, but if you want to sleep one night during your travel at a budget price, it is OK. Do not understand why the desk manager told us the hotel is full (he tried the same story last year), when they were clearly free rooms (the parking beeing at 1/10 of his capacity). He finally found our valid reservation, anyway it is not pleasant to discuss such issues at 1 a.m."

"It's OK when you stop for a night, but not as good as many other IBIS locations we stayed. The most annoying was missing easily an underground parking before the hotel. then you need to drive around (one ways streets) to get to the parking that is very tight for a regular car."

"Car parking poor. The car park was full and the overflow arrangement with the local railway station is not user friendly. It took 30 mins to exit car park with hotel issued tickets which fail to raise exit barrier. Separately, wifi not accessible . Not acceptable in today’s age. Hotel layout weird and signage to some rooms disappears long before you’re close to room. I would not return to this hotel."

"Beautiful location walking distance to citadelle and old town Besançon near breathtaking views and the gorgeous walking path along the river. The hotel had an eclectic and charming lobby/ lounge. Our room was on the ground floor of an annex type building. It was clean and simple. There is no air conditioning which was not a problem for us in early June but might be in mid summer. There is very limited parking on property and we had to find street parking which was not an easy feat - the staff...
