"This hotel is located about 20 minutes from Amboise on a large piece of property! It has an old well kept main building where breakfast and dinner are offered along with rooms. We stayed in the garden suites * Mimoasa and it was spacious with a king size bed. A fridge would have been nice as would a safe but apparently they are being included in the upgrade. "This is a complicated review, please read to the end.We were a party of 19, from 78 years old down to 1 year old. The children had a wonderful time, in the pool all day, playing in the grounds, and safe cycling along the lovely river. The adults spent many happy hours on the terrace, reading, eating chatting and drinking. It was supremely relaxing.The bedrooms were numerous and all had en suite.Gil, the concierge-property manager could not have been more friendly and helpful.However, the property is quite run down. The bathrooms varied in their functionality. The kitchen was inadequate for such a large property and the electrics were temperamental All that being said, we had a wonderful holiday and it was exceptional value for money.If you are a large multi-generational family group it may be the best venue. But it is imperfect. Four stars seems fair."

"We stayed 2 nights, mom and teen daughter. Stayed in a queen cabin. First the goods - the air conditioning on our cabin was exceptional and bed super comfy. We slept well in the heat. The staff are ALL very friendly and helpful. Pool was perfect temperature for a dip in the heat. They had poolside drink service too. Honestly, I can’t say enough about the very good and friendly service. Location is fantastic, very close to Blois. You need a car Points to consider - the wifi in our cabin was practically non-existent. If you have to work here, plan to rely on cell service. As others have mentioned, the shower is poorly designed and if you aren’t very careful, water will stream everywhere. I noticed the floor is warped in several places and I expect it’s from sitting water from shower. Breakfast was not excellent. Reminded me more of a Holiday Inn Express than a beautiful French countryside hotel. Maybe my expectations were too high. We ate at the restaurant one evening. We enjoyed it, staff very accommodating."
