He served a very nice breakfast and made reservations for us at a great restaurant for dinner. The room was nice and comfortable. We had plenty of onsite parking."

"I would really recommend staying at Peniche Mirage. The area is amazing with the canal and huge sunflower fields surrounding it. It was very quiet and lovely. Both hosts were very welcoming and we had breakfast together with them on the deck of the boat. "

"Domaine de Lanis is lovely - thoughfully renovated to a very high standard (even the teacups are color-coordinated! see photo), big airy rooms with sitting area, quiet, comfortable, nice pool, and garden to explore. Loved my stay here. Had Table D'Hote one night, it was excellent and lovely to talk to the hosts who were very friendly and helpful. Very happy to recommend and would love to return."

"The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. "An absolute gem. The Villa is very well appointed with custom finishes and furniture made by the hosts (their profession). It’s private, safe and a stone’s throw from the market for easy food shopping and all the necessities provided for home cooking. We stayed a week and did day trips in all directions.
