"This was such a fun & unique overnight stay on our long drive from Paris to Geneva. Our family of 5 loved the experience of sleeping in a treehouse in the middle of the woods. The accomodation is very charming but of course facilities are quite basic, so be aware that you have to walk a little way to toilets & showers. We drove 15min to eat after the very helpful host Jean pointed us in the right direction. A very memorable experience."

"When I arrived at this property the owner finally answered the door, she said she had no knowledge of my booking. Finally I had to email her a copy of my confirmation. This wasn't made any easier by her statement that "she spoke no English" - the website clearly states multilingual staff. (In fact it later became clear she did speak English). The 'living-room' is actually set out as a shop and did not feel welcoming - I was not invited to use it anyway. The only restaurant in Salives was unable...

"Nous avons passé une nuit dans une charmante maison rénovée. Tout le confort s’y trouve et même plus. Emmanuelle est très attentive à ce qu’on ne manque de rien. Le nécessaire de base (et même plus) pour manger est à disposition. Ensuite il y a moyen d’acheter ce qu’on veut dans les armoires en cas de besoin.
