The skies are incredibly dark for star-gazing, there is a lovely park in the grounds of the local chateau and although there is no bar in the village there is a good bread shop and a very nice restaurant (La Croix Verte). Amboise is only 5 mins drive away. We were there for the phenomenal Bastille Day fireworks."

"We had a lovely room on the second floor. The air conditioning was efficient and very quiet- a real plus in the heatwave. We parked easily in the courtyard. The pool area is surrounded by walks and trees so there was plenty of shade as well as sun loungers. The receptionist was very helpful and explained everything thoroughly. We had a great breakfast as well. They had gluten free bread for me, which is not always the case in France. "

Excellent location close to vineyards, Blois and Orleans. Bike or take a run on the beautiful grounds or take a peaceful walk through the Forrest. Perfect for dog lovers.
