"For a 2-star property, I give B&B Hotel Verdun 5 stars. It is a basic hotel, but a good stop for seeing the area, the battlefields and forts. The staff is very nice. FYI, there are stairs, no elevator. The rooms are not large, but they work for a 1-night stay. Breakfast was pastries, granola, yogurt, beans, mushrooms, toast. Juice, coffee, etc. Definitely good for a quick breakfast. This hotel is outside of the city center, but it does have several restaurants in walking distance. We walked...

"Ce gîte nous a permis de réunir la famille (petits et grands) pour quelques jours. Le fait que chaque chambre ait sa salle de bain est formidable. La cuisine est très bien équipée, surtout son four xxl et sa cuisinière qui sont très bien pour cuisiner des grandes quantités. Côté activités et cultures: la grande guerre avec la butte de Vauquois, ravin du génie, mémorial de Verdun, ou la cave de Joseph Perrier à Châlon en Champagne....
