Mountain retreat!

We spent a week at Diana and David's farmhouse with our 2 children, aged 3 and 6. The location is 15 minutes up a rural dirt track (car essential) to a beautifully converted farm house with patio, donkeys, alpacas and cats and dogs galore! The private swimming pool is perfect with views over surrounding farmlands and mountainous countryside - idyllic. The only noise was the occasional barking dog or goat bell. Well equipped, fans (no air con), delightful owners who shared many homegrown tomatoes! Small village with local cafes and shops within driving distance and we arrived at fiesta week was lovely (mid August) We went to Cordoba for the day and Antequerra for local outdoor pool and dinner in the old bullring! Perfect peaceful stay with animals and gorgeous views. Remote and relaxing. The only downside was the dusty road and narrow turn into the driveway.
