The best time to go to Villabuena de Álava is during the late spring (May to June) or early autumn (September to October) when the weather is pleasant for outdoor activities and the vineyards are at their most picturesque.

During late spring, the vineyards are lush and green, and the temperatures are comfortably mild, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C. This period is ideal for exploring the rolling hills and charming villages of the Rioja Alavesa region on foot or by bicycle. It's also a great time to visit local wineries before the peak summer crowds arrive.

Early autumn provides equally appealing weather, with temperatures usually between 18°C and 25°C. This is harvest season, offering visitors a unique opportunity to see the grape-picking in action and experience the region's winemaking traditions firsthand.
