"The building is under renovation. No actual front desk the woman who checked me in left me a bunch of keys and opened the garage. But was convenient to the ferry terminal which was way I stayed there. Room is basic but clean. "

"We loved our stay! The place was so quiet and comfortable. Everything was so clean. Fabio and his staff work very hard to give you the best experience. So kind. The availability of coffee and fresh fruit and yogurt along with pastries was so good. The restaurant next door offers italian food and sushi. I will go back and i recommend this wonderful place. "

"I have great time to stay this guesthouse, wonderful arrangement to pick me up from train station, that’s what I saw the review from other guest and I followed. The location is good, walking distance to the train station, because I did day trips to the nearby little towns by train. After all, Francy is a very good manager (I didn’t ask her if she is the owner) and very helpful. I really really appreciate what you did, Francy! "

"Really beautiful place. It’s a historic building that has been lovingly restored by the owner. Great water pressure. The owner and his partner were very friendly and sent us recommendations even though we only stayed one night. Messina is gorgeous so we’ll go back. And hopefully we can stay at this property again "

"RAS pour le prix et la vue mer (Sicile incluse), l'état neuf et la propreté de la chambre et de la salle à manger ainsi que l'amabilité de l'accueil. Par contre, l'accès est périlleux, l'environnement est dégradé (dont chiens ponctuellement bruyants) et la signalétique perfectible."

"I would 100% recommend this B&B! My friend and I were originally meant to stay 3 nights and ended up staying for 2 weeks! We stayed in both rooms, both were really nicely kept and clean. The host was so kind and attentive - gave us water and breakfast and everything else we needed, she also recommended places to go and to eat in the area and therefore we found some really beautiful places - such as Scilla which is only a short journey. "You should not book this place if you do not plan to cook daily. It is just like a studio ( kitchen with a bed and a sofa in the same room). The room is very plain with no decoration. Other than check in frond desk, there is no service like hotel. Even front desk, the door is locked with no body before 9:00am. Someone will send you breakfast but all cold pre order grocery items. It really is just a self serviced studio apartment. Not sure where the 4 star rating coming from. I only can give 2.5...

Civico7 Affittacamere
10/10 Excellent
"Transiting back from Sicily to Rome, we choose Civico7 as our crash pad for a night to avoid an exceptionally early departure from the other side. We just needed a place with beds and a shower, but this was much more with generously sized rooms, a nice lounge area just outside our suites, and a breakfast room with coffee and pre-packaged breakfast pastries. Open the fridge and apples, bananas and even lactose-free milk was available. Location was just 4 blocks uphill from the ferry port and train station, and we found a pleasant restaurants just to the north a block or two. Folks with limited mobility have to climb a few stairs to enter. "
"Without question the best resort spa in Villa San Giovanni .
This is where my dad is from ,so I’ve come to Villa quite a bit . My favorite ! Great live music and Dj by the pool , amazing views of Sicily across the sea .
Restaurant rivals any Michelin restaurant that I’ve been to . "
"Stayed here for almost two weeks and couldn’t have picked a better spot. Villa Princi was clean, quiet, and really comfortable. Easy to get around and in a great location for exploring both Calabria and Sicily. I actually spent the first 5 days driving around Sicily.
The host was incredibly helpful. She gave me dining tips, pointed me to legit olive oil spots, and had some nice pastries and even some eggs if requested. Breakfast was perfect for me.
This was my home base while I bounced around the region chasing pasta, wine, peppers, and granita. It felt like staying at a friend’s place, not some cookie-cutter rental. If you want something peaceful, local, and convenient, this place just works. Perfect place if you just need a room to sleep, shower, and have breakfast.
I’d stay again without hesitation (and probably will). Scilla was my favorite and it was only 20 minutes away. Reggio is also just 20 minutes away."
"We got our confirmation and access codes very quick. I am so thankful that they were able to communicate with me in English. They were very patient and kind.
Our room was very clean and came with bath amenities including slippers and bottles of water! The memory foam top bed is amazingly comfortable. Breakfast was also great- fresh croissants, ham, salami, amazing yogurt with yummy granola. Margaret made us fresh cappuccino and espresso.
The apartment is a comfortable walking distance from the train stop.
We highly recommend this place."
