The impression is that they want to charge for almost everything (Pool access, electricity, even the breakfast when according to our booking it was included), the studio was very small and you slept with the sound of the refrigerator next to you. "Overall, we had a lovely stay at this beautiful, historic stone chalet in Carabanzo. The house had two beautiful bedrooms, one with a balcony. The thick stone walls kept the house nice and cool during the summer days. There were two bathrooms and the upstairs bathroom had a shower with good water pressure. There was a washing machine in the downstairs bathroom. We were able to park right in fron of the house on a brick-paved plaza, although the landlady advised us that in the rain the stone...

"Lovely apartment in a generally quiet village, close access to walking in the hills and further afield. Very friendly folk despite our limited Spanish! Panaderia Furmientu was excellent and also friendly. Facilities in the apartment were excellent although we didn't realise there wasn't an oven! Ana was very welcoming and enthusiastic - a lovely start to our week! More to explore, will need to return."

"The hotel was located 5 minutes drive outside Oviedo. It was an old elegant property built in the 1930’s to a very high standard. It was surrounded by extensive grounds and had excellent views over Oviedo. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant was of a very high standard. Highly recommended. "
