"Check-in system was badly managed - got in line for reception for 10 minutes to get to the front and then be told there’s a ticket system. Understandable if super busy but it wasn’t. Train station difficult to understand and unreliable. Bus on time but very overcrowded. However, room clean and tidy campsite. Breakfast croissants and coffee were delicious and good value."

"The rooms were large and comfortable. The desk staff were very helpful for getting to placing finding restaurants points of interest etc. the location was close walk to the coliseum terminal station for hop on hop off bus and a major basilica. Park across the street had a nice festival on end of our stay. The hotel had a nice little bar that was quiet and help. The two bar tenders were great and friendly. "

"My wife and I spent three nights wonderful nights at the Splendide Royal The service from all staff was amazing but I would like to give a special shout out to Ivan who was amazing and so helpful.
