"Lovely little hotel, location in Sant Cugat was great. There was a organic/Wholefoods style supermarket which was really lovely with instore bakery selling patisserie as well as baked goods. A really good sushi selection, groceries and artisanal products. Several restaurants nearby in the furniture markets area. The staff were amazing and when they heard we had to leave in the morning before breakfast service they kindly organised breakfast to take with us. Our room was clean in the quiet annexe part of the hotel. Some wear and tear in the bathroom but did not affect our stay. I would stay here again."

"Rooms were cleaned well everyday unless otherwise stipulated. Staff was helpful; front desk could use a bit more customer service training always helpful but with some unnecessary attitude. Transit connection was great and some university amenities were available to guests like laundry facilities. Might be nice to have a “golf cart” type is access on days when guests are leaving with luggage that use the transit system. It’s a 10-15 min walk… I was very happy overall and will stay there again….."

"The hotel felt more like a 3-star property than a 4-star. On arrival, check-in was quick and efficient, which was a positive start. However, the room fell well below expectations. The bedroom floor was dirty and covered in hair, and the bathroom was in a poor state, with grime around the bath and stained walls. There were also numerous silverfish in the bedroom, which was completely unacceptable. The room lacked basic amenities such as a kettle or any facilities for making tea or coffee, which was disappointing for a hotel of this supposed standard. On the second day, I had to queue for over 30 minutes just to get a key card that wasn’t working. During my four-day stay, there appeared to be only one staff member at reception, which significantly impacted the level of customer service. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations for a 4-star hotel."
