Not a UK standard 4 star hotel. Air con didn’t work properly, the bed for the children was a pull down sofa which was very uncomfortable. Not a great choice on the half board evening meal menu. Wouldn’t stay again

Checkin was ok, staff is multilingual We didn’t use the paid parking as you can park outside Lift wasn’t working on our arrival, our bedroom was at the fourth floor!!! Our bedroom was flooded, it was raining very badly so we requested another one and had to go downstairs again (no lift, remember?) Change was quick In the second bedroom, the stovetop wasn’t working, the furniture and bathroom were outdated and we had only two towels for 4 guests. There was a dishwashing kit, very useful. Spa facilities are very outdated too but massage was great, the sauna wasn’t working. The lift wasn’t working again so we had to go through the service stairs to get to our bedroom. Access to the pool is 8€ for the whole stay. Breakfast at the restaurant was ok but could be better, on the second morning the microwave and the toasters weren’t working either. Pool table wasn’t working in the reading room, sliding doors of the main entrance were out of service too. The hotel is close to PortAventura, Tarragona and Salou, so very well located but deserve a full revamp and complete refurbishment. Too many things weren’t working even if the price was affordable. We always book 4-star hotels but this one was by far the most disappointing and doesn’t deserve this ranking.

Nice hotel for overnight or a day or two.
This is good stop on the way from UK to Costa Blanca, we have stopped several times, nice and easy. Restaurant nice and staff good and local there are has plenty of bars to eat if you want something outside. Very near the motorways AP7 and A7

Nice modern hotel
Spacious apartment for family of 4, with 2 twin beds and bunk bed, basic kitchen facilities, relatively modern bathroom, issues with flushing the toilet. Restaurant within hotel, good breakfast buffet.

The room is clean and tidy, the bed is a bit uncomfortable though, we stayed in an apartment which comes with a small kitchenette, kids sleep in the sofabed and the adult sleep in 2 single beds combined as a double bed. you do need a car if you want to stay here as it is quite far from Port Adventure.

Nice Hotel, Nice staff, nice town
We had a lovely time, staff really friendly, there is even a shuttle taking you into Salou a couple of times a day for free (wish we'd known that from the beginning!!!!) The town is really Spanish, no English translation on manu's etc (which we liked) made us realise that we really need to brush up on our Spanish!! :-)

bed was uncomfortable and sofa was smelly. disappointed that the restaurant /bar had less than average food for dinner but there were good restaurants nearby. the room door was damaged which made me feel unsafe.

Decent quality hotel
Nice hotel, decent standard. Accomodation: enter into a kitchenette with kettle, microwave, stove top and fridge. You must request kitchen cooking/eating equipment which is delivered to room. This leads to a childrens sleeping area with bunkbeds and a large sliding door into a larger bedroom for adults and the ensuite. Bathroom was very good. Hot shower with lots of pressure. Plenty of towels and shampoo/shower gel. Hairdryer in bathroom. Had power cut whilst cooking spag n meatballs so we were moved to apartment next door which was slightly different as it had 2 separate beds. My daughter preferred this as she banged her head on bunk a few times as it was low. Disney channel on tv can be changed to english language if you have right remote control (Samsung) must have 'tools' button. We swapped them over from 1st room to 2nd as 2nd room had different controller! Hotel is on a roundabout, on same roundabout is a Spanish supermarket, bit closer than Lidl and Aldi. Excellent driver of courtesy shuttle bus to La Pineda beach and Salou called Sergio. He spoke flawless English and answered all questions. The rooms wee not quite spotless i had to clean kitchenette before use and a few earwig type thingys were about at times. Nothing a shoe didn't sort out though. Olga on reception was very helpful when we discovered we had left our return Ryanair boarding passes in the 1st room and kindly printed off new ones for us. All in all a pleasant stay.

Mediocre at best
Overall it was a great holiday, but the hotel would of not of been the highlight. Thought the hotel was clean and had 24/7 service, the staff were polite, but not very courteous, and sometimes felt forced to help rather than wanted to. the air conditioning in the room did not work, and with high temperatures, i was pretty unpleasant to sleep at night. The beds were not that great, facing slight back and neck problems, but nothing severe, just would of liked a softer pillow and bed. Overall the hotel is by far not the best we have stayed in, but it was a reasonable price and location so we settled for it. do not think i will be returning to that particular one, but i know mercure has done us well in the past in other locations.

Nice quiet location with all you could ask for.
Hotel conveniently located away from from the hustle and bustle of Salou. The Family rooms were of a good size and had a small kitchenette. Only thing that was lacking was nice TVs/DVD/Media player. No English channels not even BBC World News. Wifi good. The outdoor pool was a good size, but can get busy in the afternoon. The Indoor Spa pool looked nice too. Did not eat in the restaurant, so can't say what the food is like. Three supermarkets within a 10 min walk and a few restaurants in the very near vicinity. Good value for money overall.

Great location for Port Aventura
The purpose of our stay was to spend two days at Port Aventura. This hotel is situated within very easy driving distance - less than 10 minutes and a fraction of the cost of the Port Aventura hotels! They also run a bus service to and from the theme park. We stayed in a family room which was very comfortable with bunk beds for the kids and an adjoining double room. Would also recommend breakfast - great variety of food available which set us up for the day! If returning to the theme park, would definitely use this hotel again

Reception staff have no idea about the surrounding area and need to check the internet for everything. Free WiFi was very poor in room. The double bed was 2 singles pushed together, but definitely singles, which moved even if you just wanted to hug.Not ideal for a romantic weekend. The indoor pool was connected to the Spa which only opened at 10am, which is too late if you fancy a swim before breakfast and before going out. Not a hotel I would go back to

Good hotel but with a few flaws!!
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel however there were a few issues that let the hotel down. On the positive side the rooms were clean and staff very friendly but as a tourist with a car i was most annoyed to find out that to use their car park would cost 9 euros per day which i think for a four star hotel is disgusting. Should you choose not to use thier car park you can try and i mean try to find parking in the vacinity which is almost impossible and should you park in the wrong bays in the town you could find that your car has been towed away. My second slight grumble is the location which quite literally is in the middle of nowhere so be warned if you going for the fun and attractions if nearby Salou or La Pineda be prepared to fork out 15 euros each way from the hotel or you could wait for the hotels very small minibus which is always full!

Stayed here for 1 week (16th -23July). This hotel is in Vila-Seca, a few kilometres from both Salou and Portadventura. There were 4 of us staying in a family room. In the 1st room the single 'camp' bed had a broken leg and was very wobbly and the air con was barely noticeable. After complaining we were assigned a new room. The room was clean and functional with two single pushed together to make a double, a 'camp' bed single and a sofa bed. The kitchenette was small as you would expect but fridge worked well. The air con in the room wasn't great, cooling the room just enough to do even turned up to full all the time. The cleaning of the room was excellent every day. The pool area was clean and the pool warm enough. There were sun loungers and towel on them but could be hard to come by in the late afternoon. Didn't use the spa (but it looked fine) and didn't eat at the hotel so cant comment. The shuttle service to Portadventura and Salou runs 3 times in the morning and returns only once in the evening so only good if you want to go around 10am and return at 7.20pm. The bus services are very patchy indeed so don't rely on them. There are a few restaurants in the small town but not a large choice really.Overall a quite good hotel but out of the way a bit with poor connections

Great hotel in an awesome town.
Hotel was great, and is ideal for those visiting Portaventura theme park as it's just a stones throw. Superior rooms are very spacious and although I hated the fact the beds were joint twin singles to make a double (which a majority of hotels seem to be doing nowadays), those too were also huge. The room in itself were furnished great but parking can be costly for those wanting to maybe stay a week or longer (€9 per night!!).

We went here for a weekend to go to Port Aventura. It's a nice, quite new hotel. The carpets in the halls were a bit dirty, like they had things spilled on them a lot and were never replaced, or were cleaned with bleach. The room was a 1 room suite that actually had 4 beds in it, and a kitchen. You have to ask for the kitchen utensils at the counter and they will bring up a whole container of them. The only problem I had was that hotels.com booked me incorrectly, BUT the lady at the front desk changed us from a single room they had booked for me, to the 1 room suite I had actually booked online for no extra charge or anything. Good service, nice looking place. Lots of markets and a few bars and little restaurants within walking distance. Overall, would recommend this place.

Overnight stay only, in a very modern looking hotel. Lift area and steps still to be completed. Aircon wasn't working so room was stifling hot, hence had a very poor nights sleep. Booked 7am Breakfast, as leaving for airport at 8am. Waited 10mins to be signed in, eventually found a member of staff in the kitchen who came out pointing 2 very sharp knives! A very continental breakfast + microwave to warm bacon and egg! Very helpful reception staff. Taxis appeared very quickly when ordered through reception.

Great hotel close to salou and portaventura. Oscar working in the resturant was brilliant, great customer service. Free shuttle buses to nearby attractions was so helpful and the drivers English was perfect and always offering help. Would definitely stay again.
