Great hot and cold options for breakfast. Super meal choices very good. Staff very accommodating to our requests. We were only a15 min walk (flat) to train station. Close proximity to highway that is very walkable to Vila Real deSanto Antonio.

Remember to book the spa in advance, plunge pool not very deep and some of the jacuzzi jets not working, other than that it was fabulous. Roof top bar and pool also great. Monte Gordo a solid up and coming location, not over developed for tourism. Worth getting out the town to Tavira or other beautiful algarve coast line locations - roads very smooth for driving.

Perfect getaway.

A wonderful stay at The Prime Energize. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, bed comfy and ideal for our stay. The spa area was lovely. The indoor pool was perfect for a rainy January day. The breakfast was top notch. Continental or cooked was available. Faultless.

Beds were inconsistent, wife's 1/2 was a nice mattress, the mattress on my side was old/worn and so soft that I had one of the worst sleeps of anywhere I have ever stayed, also the blackout curtains didn't work and almost fell on me when I tried to close them. Dinner: we were not shown anywhere on the Orbitz site that dinner was only available with a 24hour reservation (for a buffet?), and it was 30 euros per person. But the person at the front desk directed us to a very nice place to eat that cost us 1/2 of what the buffet would have. Parking: we were lucky it was out of season still or we would not have found parking. The site does not have dedicated parking that I could see, even though it says they have parking on Orbitz. I gave 2 stars because the breakfast was decent, and view from room was nice. After walking around, I came to the conclusion that there are nicer and cheaper hotels closer to the beach. Stay away from this one!!!!

Good view of sea if you get the room on fifth floor, good bed, spacious room, spacious balcony, very clean room and bathroom with all amenities. The only thing that put us off were the broken locks on bathroom doors. Imagine the hassle of staying the day/ night with two mischievous toddlers. The breakfast and half board buffet is just basic. Although, you get the option to purchase what is not on the buffet menu. We wish the indoor pool let in kids in the evening if the pool isin’t busy. And wish the buffet had kids food.

The staff was excellent! The room was large & clean. The pool was clean but awkward to get to. The elevator/lift was very small. Room service was good but slow. Would definitely stay again!!

An affordable gem

Lovely and affordable stay. Perfect in November when the throngs of visitors have diminished. Bathroom was super clean, but there was a bit of mold in the shower.

We absolutely loved our stay. The only feedback is on the gym. We would have loved to have had some actual barbells or dumbbells instead of just kettlebels. We will come back and hopefully we LL see these changes.

We stayed at this hotel twice before and it ideal for us. Staff are friendly helpful and great. Facilities are very good and good value for the money. We decided to include an evening meal and this vacation, which I didn’t realise was a buffet. We have two very minor remarks. 1) On the whole the food was very good but one evening the temperature of the food was not hot enough. 2) At breakfast there is an orange juice machine that crushed fresh oranges, which provides beautiful juice, but it seemed every 5 minutes it jammed up. Probably needed some maintenance. I consider this to be minor but the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars.
