The pool is great for a dip after a day sightseeing in Porto. The steps into the pool were very slippery and wobbly so care is needed entering and exiting the pool. "House is in an unusual neighborhood and was very difficult to find because hand-drawn maps were hard to understand and were in French. Owners are absentee landlords living in France and did not communicate on WhatsApp, as I requested. Tried by email, but owner always used French, not my language! No soap, shampoo, napkins, paper towels, condiments, coffee or tea provided. That being said, place was very clean, spacious (could easily handle 6 people) and beautiful, a few km from beautiful beach....

"Nice property and host. Very responsive and friendly. We are a group 11 of three families and everybody loved the holiday. Supermarkets and nice restaurant can be reached by walking. "The house is very spacious with a long drive, so plenty of room for everything and everybody. A permanent BBQ is provided in the garden, with some play equipment and a small swimming pool at the front. Theres even a pool table. Close by is a bakery, plus other eateries and the beach is 7 minutes drive away. We all enjoyed our stay. Thank you Silvia for being so helpful"

"Eduardo was an amazing host. He kept in contact leading up to our trip and offered directions and suggestions to help us with our travels. The house was amazing and had everything we needed. Our kids were in the pool every day and enjoyed the size of the house and rooms. One of few houses in the area with a pool it was an ideal base for our trips into braga and not too far from the beach in the opposite direction"

"Our stay was made especially pleasant by the helpfulness and friendliness of the owner. He could not have been better. Because it was an old stone house the availability of electrical outlets for charging phones etc and for appliances was very limited. Perhaps the charm of an old house. The swimming pool was a wonderful attraction on hot days."

"Licinia and her husband were wonderful hosts, easy to communicate with and resolving any issues promptly. The pool.ans outdoor area was great though the weather was bad during our stay so we didn't get to use it.. easy drive to Porto too! The only thing we found was the listing says spa pool and fitness centre which must be a mistake as there is not either of those available a this house."

"Overall this was a good stay. The riverfront, Cockburn’s & a fantastic Fado restaurant is within easy walking distance Our choice of room was double-booked & we were given the larger house. The ac had been turned off because the nights were cool. The problem was the day was very warm & the house was stuffy and we were told that we couldn’t leave the door open. The owner turned the ac on later in the night & it was very pleasant afterward."

"The property more than lived up to expectations. The house is beautiful and the garden / pool area is all you could want for a truly relaxing stay. We loved every minute - it was hard to drag ourselves away to explore. Restaurants and beach are just a 5 minutes walk. Would highly recommend. "This really is a beautiiful villa.....so spacious, lots to do and very well equipped. We enjoyed the tennis court, pool, billiards and gorgeous setting. Comfortable beds! "The room was big for our family of 3, we appreciated the extra space. Everything was tidy and clean, and we liked having the sink/mini-kitchen area. The area surrounding is bustling and very near to many restaurant options and a short walk across to Gaia. Although busy, from our room we were not bothered by any noise. "Excellent customer Service with neat and clean property. Closed to Shopping Mall center. Very convenient to go around using Uber or Concierge services. Will definitely recommend to anyone. Except my TV didn't work at all during my stay although I brought it to the attention of staff 3 times since the day I checked in. Each time Maintenance personnel told me that it will be fixed soon, but it never happened Staff should take care of stuff like this especially when guest is staying for 6 nights, otherwise I enjoyed my stay."
