The villa was fantastic and as described. Peaceful location but you do need a car to be able to make the most of the area. Lots to do in the surrounding areas and in our view this is a much nicer part of the Algarve, but you need to be prepared for cooler/windier evenings, which we were. Things to note for future guests: Amazing views Quiet neighbourhood Well stocked kitchen Bathrooms generally lovely, but the tub in the master room doesn't work/leaked (not a big issue). Bring your own shower gel/shampoo (this is not a complaint) Lovely hot tub The pool was not heated to a warm enough temperature for us (c.21-23 during our stay). We still had a great time, but didn't spend as much time in the pool as expected. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would recommend the villa. It's a fantastic base to explore this amazing part of Portugal. Comms with the host were ok. Cleaners were great.

Beautiful villa, great views with a lovely owner. The villa has everything you could possibly need and Marian had thought of everything for guests.

So Disappointing - Be warned DO NOT BOOK!!

We booked this villa for a week in August 2024. Whilst the villa visually looks stunning…there are many hidden problems. The main one being that the heating system to the pool is unmanageable so the pool water can become freezing cold. We were unable to use the pool in the peak of August due to the water being too cold to bare. Broken shower, broken toilet, broken sewers so you can’t flush any dirty toilet paper down the toilets….it has the be placed in bins. We left after 1 day and 2 months on are still trying to get a refund from VRBO and the owner.
