4 bedroom amazing home in Vik I Sogn

  • Welcome to Vik Fjellandsby and this beautiful vacation home. The house has a large terrace where you can spend wonderful vacations. In summer there are great hiking trails here and you can fish in mountain lakes and rivers. Here you can fish for trout in the lake and salmon in the river (fishing license). This is a popular area with nice excursions towards the Sognefjord and Fresvik. Or take a ferry from Vangsnes, about 5 km from Vik, which takes you to Sogndal and other beautiful places in the Sognefjord. In winter you will find a ski resort only 500 m from the house. In Vikafjellet you can also ski in summer, because the snow is almost all year round.

Wonderful stay, better than advertised

We had an amazing stay at this cabin. Contact with the owner was very pleasant and he responded quickly everytime. The cabin was more spacious than we expected from the photos and everything you could think of was present in the house. The views were stunning.

Schönes und sehr sauberes Ferienhaus in der Nähe von Vik am Sognefjord. Orte wie Flåm (Bahn) und Gudvangen (Fähre durch den Nærøyfjord) sind von hier aus gut erreichbar. Das Haus hat eine schöne Aussicht auf den Fjord - von einer Ecke der Terrasse. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Es gibt eine Geschirrspülmaschine, eine Waschmaschine und ein zweites WC, was sehr praktisch ist, wenn man mit mehreren Personen kommt. Schönes Wohnzimmer mit Küchenzeile. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Natürlich gibt es immer Kleinigkeiten zur Verbesserung: nur in einem Schlafzimmer gibt es einen Schrank, so dass alle anderen Gäste aus dem Koffer leben müssen. Völlig unverständlich ist, dass - wer auch immer - Brennholz gerade an der Stelle verstreut hat, an der man mit dem Auto rangieren muss. So kann man nur rückwärts die steile Auffahrt herauffahren. Außerdem sollte man genau das Kleingedruckte lesen, bzw. das, was dort nicht steht: das Haus verfügt nicht über WLAN/Wi-Fi, was für skandinavische Verhältnisse sehr unüblich ist und uns zum erstem Mal untergekommen ist. Und anders als angegeben, gibt es kein Fernsehen - zumindest ist der vorhandene Fernseher nicht an ein Netz-Kabel angeschlossen. Alles in allem geben wir eine positive Empfehlung für dieses Haus ab.

Familienurlaub am Fjord

Eine schöne und wunderbar ausgestattete Hütte mit einzigartigem Blick. Der Weg dahin war ein großes Abenteuer, da Google Maps noch nicht persönlich den Weg zur Hütte gefahren ist. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Tage als Familie mit Kleinkindern genossen.
