"The gite was very well equipped and comfortable. Probably one of the best we have stayed in over many years. The surrounding countryside is variable, with flat plains , hills and lakes. If you are interested in Ww1 the preserved trenches in the area are the best I have seen. Verdun and Nancy, which are a short drive away, are both historical and picturesque."

"We had the most wonderful stay at Lionel‘s lovely renovated farm house! It has everything you need to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of your daily life. The garden is amazing and there even is an old fire place inside if it gets chilly in the evening. Merci et à bientôt!"

"Kompletter Scam wir haben bezahlt und uns eigentch auf ein entspanntes Wochenende gefreut, haben jedoch keinen Code oder allgemein eine Rückmeldung des Vermieters bekommen. Konnten so also als wir vor der Wohnung standen erstmal mit dem support telefonieren, und uns dann ein Hotel suchen!"

"Der Eigentümer und die Verwalterin vor Ort sind sehr nett. Das Haus ist grundsätzlich gut eingerichtet. Es liegt aber leider direkt hinter einem Bauernhof und einem offen Kuh- und Schafstall. Dadurch stinkt es fast durchweg im Garten, auf der Terrasse und im Haus sehr stark! Wenn sich der Wind dreht, hat es stark nach Schwein gestunken, da auf der anderen Straßenseite ein Schweinestall ist. "Beautiful house with medieval feel to it. Nice garden with evening sun. Very spacious and clean. Boulangerie is 3 minutes away on foot. Close to the river for a walk. Close to Nancy, Toul, Bar-le-Duc and forests for walking. Owner was very nice and helpful."

"Don’t book this hotel, it may be a scam. I had a reservation, arrived before check in closed, no one there and their out of hours system did not recognise my booking. Tried the phone numbers they gave, no response, had to drive on and make a different booking somewhere else. Hotel no responding to hotels.com so delaying my refund. DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL!"

"Stopped here en route to Italy by car, very much off the beaten track. Lovely countryside location, very peaceful. Pleasant welcome. good room with all facilities, bed was adjustable and very comfortable. Decor a little dated, but this is part of the charm of choosing a rural hotel. Excellent meal, reasonably priced; lady who served us was especially nice. Good breakfast. Would definitely come back."

"I would love to give it 5 stars but due to the fact that the heat was not working was really bad specially when you are with an infant with you I literally had put his jacket on in the middle of the night because the room was freezing mind you we had a small heater on but in vain. I wish we had been informed of this situation before we arrived in order to weight our options or not. But besides that the receptionist was very nice and helpful to us during our stay."
