Best avoided.

Welcome to Les Tours de Fawlty. The chalets are not uncomfortable but basic and thin-walled. Beds are decent, pillows brick-like. The tour de force, however, happens in the restaurant. Having read decent reviews, we were rather looking forward to some simple but good French food. Worth mentioning at this stage that I lived in France for 14 years and speak French. To start, we were rather taken aback by the prices, which are high, particularly by Vierzon standards (we stayed in a competitor establishment last time, which was far more reasonable). We decided to push on, long day, late (8pm), tired. Charcuterie, not bad but at €16 for a slice of paté and a couple of slices of other cured meats, it should have been more generous and better. A skinny foie gras, disappointing. The main course of steak (€28) was tough and bland with no sear, and accompanied by a luke warm potato gratin and some other unidentifiables. That went back, prompting shock from the waitress, disbelief from front of house and utter outrage from the gesticulating breeze-block chef, all of whom took turns to challenge my - clearly ignorant - view of the culinary arts. But the beef is French, Monsieur, and everything is cooked in-house! I expected Manuel to burst in at any moment. Cheese, difficult to get wrong in France. And the tarte tatin, a saving grace from complete disaster. One might be tempted to think of this place as quirky or charmingly anachronistic but, basically, it is sub-par. Skip it if you can.

Stopped at this hotel on a drive through France and it was great. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food is delicious and the pool is a lovely way to unwind after a long drive. The rooms are perhaps a touch basic but they have everything you need and were clean and comfy. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Vlak bij de snelweg en toch totale rust gedurende de nacht dankzij de kamers in de houten gebouwtjes achter het hotel. Je denkt even in Zweden te zijn. Fijn dat je na een lange reis ook kan eten in het restaurant, zelfs op de maandag. Ruim ontbijt. Alles gelijkvloers: ideaal voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn. Parkeerplaatsen meer dan voldoende en veilig vanwege een afsluitbaar hekwerk.

Le séjour c’est bien passé, la douche pas de raclette, le rideau de douche pour personne à mobilité réduite jaune par le bas et blanc en haut sa couleur et pas de prise à côté du lit pour les personne qui ont un appareil respiratoire pour la nuit comme moi, j’ai du enlever la prise du téléphone pour mon appareil respiratoire. Sinon le reste ça va.

Nous y reviendrons

Suite à un grave accident sur autoroute à 6 Km de l'hôtel, nous sommes arrivés tardivement à l'hôtel, dans la difficultés des suites de cet accident le personnel de l'accueil a été très réceptif , à l'écoute des problèmes rencontrés et donné des réponses à nos attentes et préoccupations . Les chambres des bungalows sont très bien aménagées et climatisées. Très bonne qualité et quantité pour les petits déjeuners . Pour le cote restaurant compte tenu de notre arrivée tardive nous n'avons pas pu apprécier le diner malgré une très belle carte . Suite à l'accident nous n'avons pas pu passer les 2 Jours prévus. Au moment de regler la facture ne pouvant que passer 1 Nuit nous avons du régler les 2 Nuits car la reservation avait été faite par le site HOTEL.COM sinon la facture aurait été sur 1 Nuit Lors de notre prochain passage nous y reviendrons . Hôtel accepte les animaux

J'avoue avoir été un peu déçue par l'hôtel. Nous étions logés dans un "chalet" un peu décrépi à la décoration tristounette. Quant au repas du soir c'était l'éternel poisson poché servi avec une sauce crèmee ou le non moins traditionnel magret de canard que lon trouve maintenant dans tous les restaurants qui ne se donnent plus la peine de faire de la cuisine régionale ...cest dommage.
