We stayed in Vierzon twice as we were transitting through the area. Our first room was older, but clean with comfortable bedding and a lovely view over the canal. They next room was wonderfully renovated with a bath to soak in. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant has recently reopened-

This quirky, uniquely styled hotel is in the centre of Vierzon, perfect for our overnight stopover en route to our destination. There's convenient, safe parking underground or directly opposite the hotel. We found the hotel staff friendly and welcoming.

Quick Stop over

You need to check in first before getting the fob that opens the garage, but there is pleanty of space to park the car before check in. Quite a qwerky hotel. We arrived late and had already bought wine and snacks, so we didn´t leave the room untill the morning. Nice comfortable bed, shower worked, no problems to report.

A quirky place that looks to be a little rundown. First impressions though..... once inside the staff on the front desk was superb, room was acceptable and a good size. A good location, close to bars, restaurants and amenities. Safe and secure car parking and a decent ( not expensive) breakfast.

Outstanding

Stayed for one night as a half-way stop back to Calais. Great central location near to bars/restaurants with free secure parking, very comfortable bed, warm with own radiator control, clean refurbished shower/bathroom. For what we wanted it was beyond expectations for the price paid.

I felt I was in a time warp. Built in the 60’s by the looks, the entrance P P public ateas don’t appear to have changed much since. The public corridors are lined with faded pictures of film stars from the 60s. Despite the rather tired aspect of the public areas the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Staff were friendly. Vierzon also had a faded quality which fitted. There’s a supermarket next door for provisions if the restaurant is closed though there are also places to eat near by

We arrived on Sunday, which apparently the town shuts down most of it's places to eat and drink with only a few restaurants opening in the evening. The hotel closed their restaurant and bar for the day and evening, therefore we could not even get a drink there (no coffee, tea or bottled water was made available in our room). The view out of the bedroom window was depressing - a roof top that was so untidy and neglected. if you looked over this you could see the river! Breakfast the next morning was not inviting and sparse.

Curious hotel! Very retro. Corridor carpets tired and need replacing but rooms have good aircon and ceiling fans. It’s a tired old 1960’s hotel but very comfortable beds lovely large parking below. It’s not a romantic hotel or somewhere for someone on business. But it’s excellent value for a good stopover off the autoroute. I would stay again. Lovely town and canal perfect for those with a dog and a car. Lovely pizzeria next door. Thank you Arche, it made us smile!

Great location

2nd time of staying as a pit-stop for our journey to South of France. Great location just off the motorway in a pleasant town with plenty of bars/restaurants. Easy secure parking underneath the hotel, quick check-in and a comfortable nights sleep, perfect for our needs.
