We arrived with too many luggage (baby) , the front desk saw us but they put us in the room that requires climbing stairs. The Hotel is an outdated carpet, elevators, doors, ... however the bedding an bathroom amenities were excellent. room was clean even though was outdated. if you dont have much luggage, then worth to stay at this hotel.

We were two female guests staying in a twin room; the hotel is very dated but made it feel traditional and authentic to the city. Hotel was very clean, with option to opt-out of housekeeping in order to donate staff wages to charity, which we thought was great, but fresh towels were available on request too. Only downside on the room was the lack of plug sockets, only one near the bed, and the TV was slow and didn’t show many English channels. Staff were all polite and helpful. Breakfast was a decent selection and tasty, but we sometimes struggled to get a table, and used tables weren’t cleaned down and reset very quickly. We visited the bar for a nightcap every evening after our day out and the barmen were really lovely, funny, and friendly. Great selection of drinks. Location feels authentic on the cobbled streets, and in close walking distance to shops and the nearest train station, where you can pick up the metro, trains, and the CAT train for the airport. It was also easy to walk into the main central distract, so overall the perfect location, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room was beautiful and comfortable. The location was great to travel to locations using public transportation and on foot. Would definitely stay at again!!!

Nice hotel hidden in an alcove
Nice hotel, fairly central so walkable to most tourist sites. Only criticism was that only English TV channel was Sky News which pixelated so badly it was unwatchable.

We arrived early so my room wasn’t ready. My son’s room was ready so I had a little rest at his room while my room was being prepared. I was given a very nice room next to my son’s room which was really handy. The staff were all very welcoming especially at the checkin and restaurant. I would be happy to come back to this hotel. Highly recommend this hotel

Ups and downs but nice all the same
Tried to eat in their restaurant and was asked if I had booked. Bar girl earlier in day said probs dont need to. But at 6pm manager asked me why I had not booked?, he went on to ask me how I expected to be seated without a res if "he has 300 guests staying at hotel", I must be crazy! Room carpets need replacing. Staff are (apart from restaurant manager) very nice and helpful. Double beds have single duvets...bit of a comfort nightmare. Most destinations are €10/15 cab ride or 20/25min walk. Get the train from airport, its very easy and hotel is stright line 5 min walk from end if line station.

Average hotel for the price. Not good if you have large suitcase as the hotel entrance is 100 meters away from the main road and one will need t ok drag the luggage on a gravel road of a small lane.

Had a good stay at the Mecure Biedermeier Wien. The room was a good size and was clean and beds were comfy. The staff were friendly. The location is near a couple of pubs and restaurants and is close to the Wien Mitte station and walking distance to the Innere Stadt. Would recommend staying.

It would’ve been nice to know that Vienna is closed on Sundays in order to rearrange our plans. There was also a map that was given to us the last day-both of these suggestions could’ve been provided to us on the onset of our check-in.

This hotel was and excellent choice for our stay in Wein. However, if you expect the AC to be cool as we are use to in North America, forget it. Your option is, many windows.

Cozy traditional hotel
A charming old-style hotel, extremely convenient for Wien Mitte station (with its airport train). My room was small but comfortable, lovely bathroom. Even though the hotel is central, the main thing I heard from my room was birdsong. I can't say anything about the breakfast, as the first day I was there I was told there was nowhere for me in the extensive breakfast room and that I'd have to come back a bit later. (I didn't want to spend time during my only day in Vienna waiting for breakfast, so I went somewhere else.) And the second day I had to leave too early.

I only stayed a couple of nights, but thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The hotel is in a beautiful location close to downtown, about 15-20 minutes walk to the heart of the "Old City" attractions and parks. The staff were friendly and very helpful, many dining options available onsite or nearby. The hotel was very clean and quiet. Many thanks for an enjoyable relaxing stay.

Very expensive with poor service. We had to carry our heavy luggage 100 m from the street to the hotel. Got a extremely small room with no direct elevator access. Had to change rooms. Parking place impossible to find. Had to carry all suitcases by myself. Check out took 20 minutes, comment of the reception employee “our system is slow”
