"We had an excellent stay, would highly recommend and would book again. The only thing that could use some improvement was that the fridge was not very clean and there was a strong chemical cleaning smell when we arrived, such as Febreze being sprayed and very strong laundry detergent. If you are allergic, I would recommend to ask beforehand not to have these products used. Other than that, great communication with the owner and very peaceful stay. "

"We ended up getting in town late and it was a VERY long gravel road to get to the property. When we went in to check it out, we were greeted by flies and lots of moths. But it was so run down that right after walking in, we started calling local hotels to try to find somewhere to go. The upstairs is that much worse than the first floor. There is no handrail on the stairs, the “light switch” is a very long rope that is very unsafe. All of the beds were VERY cheap metal frames, the mattresses were lumpy, and the sheets were very old and musty. The bedroom with 2 beds upstairs was the only bedroom we used because 2 of my kids were too afraid of the dilapidated flooring in the entire upstairs. It was so uneven and unsteady that it felt like you were going to fall through the floor. One of the bedrooms upstairs was the size of a closet with a very low door frame. The other bedroom had a window unit “taped” in the window that looked like it would fall out if we touched it to turn it on. We "
