"We have just returned from a lovely two night stay in Dunkeld. There was five adults staying at the property and it was so warm, clean and inviting. We stayed very warm (given the outside temperatures down to 2 degrees) around the wood fire and the multiple panel heaters kept the entire house warm. "We really enjoyed our stay - it's a great place to decompress. It's so peaceful and has spectacular views. At first, I was a bit regretful that we hadn't booked accommodation closer to Halls Gap, but after spending a day in Halls Gap with all the other school holiday visitors, we were really pleased to be in such a peaceful place. "This a unique property, very cosy and peaceful. It was exactly as advertised and very charming with a well presented modern attached bathroom. Karen was a really helpful host and the location for us was great especially as Karen gave us so much advice and assistance to plan our day in the Grampians. "Great service and customer oriented care. Needed early check in granted. Needed late check out granted. Looked old but facility was almost perfect.. Minor issue need sound proofing..next door neighbours ordered late pizza and we're very busy till early hours and I was a light sleeper."

"This place is great. Love the cottage we had. Pool was right across the way from us. The woman who checked us in was extremely kind and gave me her personal ice stash. I would stay here again. We also met another couple while travel who had stayed there on their trip and loved it so much they were staying there again on their way back home."

"We chose Hamilton Lakeside mainly because it was pet friendly. We contacted the motel to confirm, and they were great. Our furry family member was very happy (& we were too). The rooms were very comfortable, clean, neat and tidy, and if there had been pets there before ours, we could not see any evidence of previous pets, i.e. no unwelcome smells etc."
